What a disappointing night

I don't know if you can call Parsons a LB at this point, after LVE and Clark there is really nothing.

LVE, Clark and O would have been a nice rotation.

Parsons is a LB and still lines up there.

I'm not saying losing Overshown isn't terrible, however I also don't think the LB room is as thin as some are saying

They are in the Nickel like 70% of the time - the 2 LBs being LVE and Clark.

I truly dont remember Parsons lining up at LB very much.

Last year it was mainly LVE with Barr and Clark getting snaps - this year I think we could have had a nice rotation of the 3, with at times Clark and O on the field and giving LVE a breather and keeping him fresh.

The irony here is you're probably wrong but the same things were said about denucci and now you're saying it about will Greer should we give up on will grier like we gave up on the new chi and Mike white or should we try to keep developing the guy he's had some better preseason games and practices that he's had in the past so I think he's made small improvements so can we stop arguing over what third string quarterback could have won a meaningless game?? Let's be honest everyone in here made jokes out of denucci they didn't want him here same with Mike white but after these players leave all of a sudden you want them back..

Newsflash I don't care what denucci has looked like in that fake league and in some preseason games you put him in a 17 game season how the averages seem to average out players like him typically you're gonna see a lot of the old stuff you didn't like meaning he's just gonna be very average to below average back up not a starter that people are dreaming he might be in that we let that one get away...

I'm being serious here I mean I I've been on these boards since the 90s that they started having chat rooms in the old Dallas cowboy board and all these players that you hated that you mocked that you clown said he shouldn't even be on an NFL team that he should be working at Home Depot and now you want them back now you're bragging about them This is why fans need to stay out of the GM business you don't know how to evaluate talent they're already saying that mozzy's a bust the five years from now when he's on another team playing really well you're gonna want him back because that is what fans do..

Was really high on this kid and looking forward to seeing him and Clark develop.

Yes, it was a gut punch losing Overshown & Stephens, but This is why we don't have our starters in these preseason games...

just one bad roll up on the back of a leg to someone like Zach Martin or Prescott or CD lamb blowing a knee out would be terrible,

yes it could happen in game one but there's a reason we're protecting our players right now.

That may be the case that may be what your intentions were but I read the responses after his season in the whatever league he was in last year when he got picked up by the by the Broncos, there was a small group here who literally and seriously said we shouldn't have let him go, we should have kept him on the team or we should have brought him back to compete with Rush as the backup...

It's just the nature of these boards just like watch Brett Maher have a very good season with Denver and everyone's going to say damn maybe we shouldn't have gave up on him so early and it's probably true but this place is already burning Mazi to the ground and the dudes only played two preseason games.

As soon as Mike white had those three good games with The Jets everyone said how stupid our coaching staff was to let that guy go, then what happened after that he turned back into the same mike like we all knew... that is what backups do they're hot and cold so much you don't know what you're getting and if you start a guy like Mike white or even Cooper rush for 17 games, you're probably gonna be 8-9 or 9-8 and that's counting on the defense and special teams and coaching just playing out of their minds is what Cooper rush got last year but there are people still on some social media outlets that are claiming we're the one that 49er game with Cooper rush instead of Prescott!​

how mind numbingly ignorant is that??? So my rants, my responses are to those people who really truly believe that and there are still some people on here I've seen at least three that think Cooper plays protective solid football and stays within the offense and that's 100% untrue.... I saw all his turnovers, I saw him not be able to move the ball on 3rd down, I saw him not be able to score more than one touchdown a game and yet somehow they think he's a bus driver... he's not a bus driver unless you're talking about the bus driver that puts it on cruise control ,ties the steering wheel and holds on for dear life white knuckling it down the road... that is what Cooper is what most of these backups are, I don't care if they have a great game or two.​

Heck I would take Fitz magic IE Fitzpatrick over any of them but he did a lot of the same things but at least he consistently won a little bit more games than the guys we keep talking about on this board including Cooper rush who's ranked around 40 NFL quarterbacks this season that should tell you all you need to know when not one team plucked him off our roster when he was a free agent to become their backup or their starter not even Kellen Moore.. But there's some clueless fans who think we would have a better shot with him than Prescott..
