Give it a few days, someone is bound to come up with a silver lining to this debacle.
No silver lining. They got their butts kicked. It happens. Move on. Next game coming up.

It’s nice to see he can provide some critical analysis. But there’s no need to call out fans . It doesn’t strengthen the argument.

Both extremes on this site ( homers and haters) are a problem. Most fans are more in the middle.

The Cowboys to some fans are like a problem child or loved one who will need to see much more evidence and or results before totally believing they have totally turned the corner. It been almost 3 decades. Hard to blame them.

Fans don’t have to believe to root them on . They can retain a glimmer of hope while remaining doubtful and critical .

And some fans should take the advice of coaches blocking out or ignoring the noise. This entire attack by both extremes is merely an attempt to discredit them personally cause their rebuttals to the argument are exhausted.
Also hard to lay three decades of failure at the feet of the 2023 Cowboys based on one bad game (two if you want to go back to October in San Fran).

I agree calling out fans is wrong because we all deal with losses differently. To me I am shrugging this one off based on the fact the Cowboys are basically locked into their spot (let's be real, the Giants are not beating the Eagles once let alone twice) and the Bills were desperate.

Even as a 50+ year fan, the thing I've always hated about the Cowboys is that a number of them spend too much time reading (and believing) their press clippings.

There is absolutely no excuse for tonight's debacle. I've not yet seen any post-game pressers from Coach McCarthy (or anybody else), but can only hope the good sense was had not to offer one.

From the offense, defense, special teams and coaching staff. Too many penalties that stalled drives or kept Buffalo drives going. Defense couldn’t stop the run and the offense sucked all around. Give credit to Buffalo. They probably played their best game of the year. We get every teams best.

BUT, the seasons not even close to being over. Quinn needs to figure out how to stop the run with what he’s got and MM needs to figure out how to beat that kind of defensive scheme because I’m sure they’ll see more of it.

So let the haters celebrate and do their gloating. They‘re quitters and/or bandwagon fans. I’m still a believer and looking forward to see how the team handles this set back.

:starspin:
This game wasn't meant for haters to gloat it was a game to humble people who actually believe this Cowboys team could make a SB.

Games like this show us who the real fans of the team are.

The mood of this forum tonight makes it seem like this team is 4-10 and not 10-4.

They had a stinker, like you said. In the NFL it happens. The pace the Cowboys were on had to end at some point.

860 or the 203 my guy?

All Dak's fault lol

Makes sense.

Kind of curious why admins allow a board to be ruined with unreasonable hate.

I will get banned for being reasonable.

Suppression is good for all existence. Sweet God we have.

It’s happened in three of our four losses and they were all on the road. The next game might not be any better unless we can jump out to an early lead. If we get behind, we’re probably done.

If this is what a stinker is, what was the Cardinals game?

Cook only had 43 yards rushing and 2.7/attempt against Philly 2 weeks ago. We just finished manhandling Philly's defense last week.

Bad football, parity, injuries with no depth, anyone's game. Not ready to say this game means we won't do squat in the Playoffs.

You lose your best run-stopping DT, your starting MLB and THEN his backup, and most of your safeties, you probably will be run over most games.

Happened last year too. Just made worse if other team gets big lead early. This defense is night and day when it has the lead and can pass rush at will.

A garbage effort with three starting offensive linemen out and the same kind of run defense problems we saw today. For whatever reason the team didn't adjust.

IMO, there were a bunch of factors at play here:
- The weather seemed to be in Dallas' head more so than the actual weather was a problem
- The injury to Hankins really screwed up the defense
- The team being sick probably didn't help
- Buffalo is a good team that was at home in a must win game

When things went wrong early the team just seemed to fold. That's a concern in general. I think they folded against SF and the injuries to the O line did the same thing to them against Arizona. There are some patterns here.

That said, the Cowboys are a better team than they showed today. I expect them to run the table in the regular season barring some other freak set of circumstances.

These fans aren’t necessarily holding the last three decades on this particular team . The last 8 years are enough.

But this disappointing and frustrating era does take a toll on our fanbase.

It doesn’t mean they can’t see the improvements of this team with some hope.

Yea, fans are kinda fickle. Got too high from last weeks big win and too low from this loss. It’s a long season . Let’s see how it shakes out.

But I certainly understand why some fans react the way they do. The only way to stop the attitudes and narrative is to finally kick the door down in January. Winning cures most ills.

That's a well-thought post. Bravo.

But given you've attempted to explain to me how I should "fan" on more than one occasion it's a little odd coming from you. Stick with this post, please.

The Bills had a third of their starting defense out with injuries.

The Cowboys are mentally toast.

Been that way for years
