These fans aren’t necessarily holding the last three decades on this particular team . The last 8 years are enough.

But this disappointing and frustrating era does take a toll on our fanbase.

It doesn’t mean they can’t see the improvements of this team with some hope.

Yea, fans are kinda fickle. Got too high from last weeks big win and too low from this loss. It’s a long season . Let’s see how it shakes out.

But I certainly understand why some fans react the way they do. The only way to stop the attitudes and narrative is to finally kick the door down in January. Winning cures most ills.

But lost in all this is the Cowboys actually made the playoffs (officially) today. This was not a playoff game. I know you have to beat teams like this in the playoffs but how do we know this is how it's going to play out next month? We don't.

In fact this team could lose just as bad in Miami next week. We know what the narrative will be then. But it still doesn't guarantee playoff failure. A 9-7 Giants team once won it all. And I know for a fact this Cowboys team is better than they were.

Since we have the 5th seed locked up , especially if Egirls win tomorrow night, I might be inclined to rest any stars nursing an injury and limiting exposure from our stars to make sure we are healthy for playoffs .

That last drive today when game was totally over I was wondering why we were risking injury to Prescott. Seemed foolish to me down 31-3 with 5 minutes left.

Shoot, we could be the most rested and healthy team headed into January. Just saying..

Been that way for years

They still have 2 more great opponents coming up with Miami and Detroit. I'll reserve my judgment until after those games on if I think they have a shot in the Tourney.

From the offense, defense, special teams and coaching staff. Too many penalties that stalled drives or kept Buffalo drives going. Defense couldn’t stop the run and the offense sucked all around. Give credit to Buffalo. They probably played their best game of the year. We get every teams best.

BUT, the seasons not even close to being over. Quinn needs to figure out how to stop the run with what he’s got and MM needs to figure out how to beat that kind of defensive scheme because I’m sure they’ll see more of it.

So let the haters celebrate and do their gloating. They‘re quitters and/or bandwagon fans. I’m still a believer and looking forward to see how the team handles this set back.

The mood of this forum tonight makes it seem like this team is 4-10 and not 10-4.

They had a stinker, like you said. In the NFL it happens. The pace the Cowboys were on had to end at some point.

After that debacle that the Cowboys put on display on the game of the week, can you blame the forum for being negative? The Boys put up zero fight today in a game that they should have won easily if they were who we had been told they were for the last 4-5 weeks.

Lol, yeah Rockport gives his all in supporting this team. Sometimes I wish I had that kind of fortitude. That being said, it seems to be the same holes and short comings year after year with this team and that points to an internal problem with the franchise.
