Carroll was also in camp Bledsoe...could be interesting to see what he does with Romo if he became coach....might send the youngster packing knowing what he has in the wily vet.

You guys never quit do you.

Bledsoe will never be the starting QB in Dallas again, unless Romo falls to injury.

I fully expect Bledsoe to either retire or be released this off-season.

Pete Carroll layed the foundation for Bill Belechik in New England and don't get near the amount of credit he should. Drafted a lot of key players that were around during the dynasty run.

Law, Bruschi, McGinest, Brown, Johnson...you'll find many more key players were drafted in the Parcells era. NOW, BB has a team that's pretty much 'his'. The first few rings he got were chiefly off Parcells Guys, with the big exception of Brady, who is ALL Belichick. Bledsoe, unfortunately, being ALL Tuna. Very few key players came in under Pete.

Err, Katzenmoyer?

Carroll was also in camp Bledsoe...could be interesting to see what he does with Romo if he became coach....might send the youngster packing knowing what he has in the wily vet.

Believe me, the bloom had faded off that rose by the time Pete was ousted. Round about the time Drew screwed Zampese's timing O, and got too lazy to work on his footwork.

No no NO!! :)

Read my prior post.

Pete once had a problem keeping his Pats players out of them.

Carroll himself is a straight arrow, and a living doll.

And a hell of a basketball player too, or so I hear

I didn't know that.

But I do now know Munchis is a Nors imposter.

No way would Nors not have known who came onto the Pats roster under what coach..NE being his favorite team.

No to Carroll. As a So Cal College coach, he does well but he will fall on his face in Dallas. Trust me, the cheerleader stuff works better in college...

You never hire a coach. You hire the coaching experience. What I mean by that is you hire the coach, the assistants he wants and give him the room to be him. Only then will you benefit from having a coach like Pete Carroll. The biggest mistake you could do is what the AZ Cardinals do in that they hire a big name but none of his staff. You have to give Carroll the money to hire whoever he wants as his assistants.

I don't think Carroll would work in Dallas. The expectations are too high here and we lack the patience to give a coach a chance. Plus, Dallas and the organization is not west-coast nor laid back. Hypothetically, Carroll would do well for a team like the Cardinals assuming the Bidwells would let him hire his assistants. But in Dallas, we won't give him the time to be Pete Caroll and let him have his warm and fuzzies
