What an embarrassing board and game thread last night

I get annoyed with the whining but have come to expect and with the way the boys were getting WHIPPED in the trenches on both sides of the ball I don't blame anyone for complaining.

HOWEVER I do have issue for people that say, the team lost and they are not going to watch anymore.

For those people I say you are nothing but fairweather fans and don't deserve to celebrate the victory.

I am in it until that final whistle blows....through the good and the bad.

if we do ever sign TO, i'll be hard pressed to watch while he's in a cowboys uniform. but yea, i loved the game until the end, ya know? i kinda had a "feeling" when they kept saying how philly is undefeated after XYZ event - cause it seems as if on queue, every time that's said, the other team comes back.

after the td i had faint hope.

then again roy williams showed us what a liability he is in coverage!!!! (sorry, the usual rant got out)

i didn't feel bad about backing into a win when we've been backed out of 2 this year the same way. we're owed 1 more to my way of thinking. : ) skins next time though.

I had troubles watching Deion....can't stand the man...but I was happy when he made a play.

the TO's - i can't. gotta draw the line somewhere and he's so far on the other side of hell for me i'd just have a lot of *something* to swallow to watch the team still. i'm sure i would but it would not be NEARLY as fun - even if he caught the winning TD in the superbowl it would still be TO and hard to appreciate.

Hos, if you want your board to be full of people one minute saying Drew should be in the Hall of Fame and the next minute saying we need a QB or Ware is LT one minute and the next Ware stinks and so on, so be it. Of course people have a right to say that and have a right to their opinions, but these so called opinions are irrational on a play to play basis. Play to play! Not even week to week which is bad enough, but play to play. It's ridiculous and embarrassing.

That is why I don't come to this site during a game. The game is not over until the final whistle blows and to sit here and live and die by every single play is too much to handle.

i get a kick reading these types of threads. is it wrong for people to voice their opinion on the progress of a game? it's no different than a bunch of fans sitting around in a living room or bar watching the game doing some b*t*h*n' and moaning.

I knew it, you were watching the game and whining and crying just like I said. Sure you can complain about the performance, but to make knee jerk decisions on players and coaches from good play to bad play is a joke and makes no sense to me. And to people who waited two weeks to watch this game and then turn it off because it wasn't going their way is childish to say the least.

None of you guys seem to understand. We all complain during the game if we're not moving the ball or can't stop the other team or the opposition seems to make every FG. That's different than saying Shanle stinks after a poor read or Ware is a bust when he gets manhandled on a play or Bledsoe needs to go after he gets sacked and so on.

I just want to say thanks to the majority of fans who stuck up for their fellow board members and fans. Many of you probably feel the same way Glen does but you realize he was just trying to criticize fellow fans and you stood up for them. I was expecting a lot of people would jump on Glenn's pulpit and accuse people of not being real fans but the vast majority called him out. Nice to see this place not only has passionate fans but classy ones too. And no, I'm not accusing you of not being classy Glen. Everyone makes mistakes. You got frustrated by some of us so it's understandable.

Listen! Read my initial post. I'm not saying you can't be frustrated about our play, that's only natural. However, to make knee jerk decisions on players and coaches after each and every bad or good play is ridiculous. Your wife was just tired and fell asleep, no big deal.
