1. have a good game offensively at the start of the game instead of the end.

2. Our young guys play better than the "stars" they are replacing.

3. T J Watt doesn't remember that we took Taco Charlton instead of him.
2. Wouldn't it be something!!!!!!!????

3. Prayed this prayer everyday this week

This game all comes down to Dak and the offense IMO. If he can’t execute better than what Flacco did last week against Pitt— we have no shot

We can’t come out and take 3 quarters to “warm up” and try and make a desperate comeback.

The offense needs a creative spark on terms of playcalling and gameplan, and then the offense needs to come out and execute crisp, efficient, and productive football.

If Dak can get us a 10+ point lead and make Fields have to throw to beat us, we walk away with a W

If we trot out the same predictable, inconsistent, sloppy offense we have seen so far— we lose. Badly.

Dak— earn your 60 mil price tag my dude
We can't give up 5 TD's in a row.

What can the Cowboys do to have a successful game against the dreaded black and yellow Steelers football team?? I'll give you a few of my thoughts, please give yours!

1. Not make excuses on who isn't available to play, guys need to step up! Next man up, nobody will feel sorry that we were missing players, as injuries happen around the league all the time.

2. Play disciplined intelligent football! Act like we know what we're doing out there, these coaches hopefully have been scouting the steelers tendencies and will put together a plan for our guys to follow. The coaches can't do everything, these players need to do their jobs too!

3. Limit Penalties- I'll say it again, LIMIT penalties!! I swear sometimes we have more penalty yards than rushing yards

4. Let's give Aubrey the day off, and the offense scores touchdowns!

5. Defense needs to play aggressive and not let the Steelers offense dictate what happens.

YOUR TURN!
Penalties, none, lol mistakes,

So All the critical thinking aside, is there a slight chance we steal this one?

The matchups are so overwhelmingly against us that I wouldn't be completely shocked if we got the W because of the unpredictability of the NFL

Just like I said about Desahaun Watson in game 1 ; their quarterback is the biggest wildcard to us winning........he may just implode

It's time for Dak to step up. He needs to carry this team like the big elite guys do. He cannot afford to go 3 and out to start the game. Lead the Cowboys to TDs on their first 3 possessions not your last 3 possession of the game. Dak just does his job from the beginning and the rest of the team will be inspired. But he has to do it and show that leadership that we see in elite QBs.

Coradelle Paterson is out, that's a big help for us!!!
Injuries. Injuries to key Steeler players. Right now they stack up much better on paper and with their actual starting line up healthier than ours, and hiavng more weapons to challenge our defence.

If Diggs is not able to play, then having Carson, Bland, Parsons and Lawrence unavailable would make the defence extremely suspect. We could not be effective against a traditional run game, Fields and the RPO and our sell out system to stop the run that we used against Baltimore would be a serious liability against a mobile QB.

How do you stop Pickens and Austin who along with Fields' arm could take the top off of Dallas secondary that is hobbled right now?

We still have to play the games, and we hope the Cowboys can grind out a win, but right now it doesn't look great on paper.

1) Bench Dak and play Cooper.
2) Bench Zeke and play Dalvin.
3) kick on 4th down and go for field goals on 4th.
4) Don't Rush, bring 4 and keep fields in pocket. Have an LB keep eyes on him every play for running.

Win.

Maybe we can trick Pittsburgh into thinking they've already won the game in the first quarter and we can start padding our stats early...

Conservative, don't give up on the run even if the they aren't getting much. An offensive line that run blocks is inflicting wear and tear on their defense.

The Cowboy must keep a balanced offense. The defense must key on the running game, make Fields try to beat them and capitalize on any turnovers.

Well said. Gotta score. Contrary to popular belief around here, you're still allowed to score TDs on offense when your defense isn't playing well.

No penalties and Dallas defense getting turn-overs.
