What are the Keys to victory over Pitt?

The Steelers think its a road game and flew to Dallas by accident?? Thats their best chance...

The play calling needs a refresh.

everyone knows what we are doing.

all the run plays are in the A gaps.

What can the Cowboys do to have a successful game against the dreaded black and yellow Steelers football team?? I'll give you a few of my thoughts, please give yours!

1. Not make excuses on who isn't available to play, guys need to step up! Next man up, nobody will feel sorry that we were missing players, as injuries happen around the league all the time.

2. Play disciplined intelligent football! Act like we know what we're doing out there, these coaches hopefully have been scouting the steelers tendencies and will put together a plan for our guys to follow. The coaches can't do everything, these players need to do their jobs too!

3. Limit Penalties- I'll say it again, LIMIT penalties!! I swear sometimes we have more penalty yards than rushing yards

4. Let's give Aubrey the day off, and the offense scores touchdowns!

5. Defense needs to play aggressive and not let the Steelers offense dictate what happens.

YOUR TURN!
Dumb luck.

3.4, mind you but yeah, Harris is not good. Surprised he still starts for them. But if he gets it going against us that's just an insult.
He just may without DLaw and Parsons. Need a strong game from Osa, Mazi and Kneeland.

Above average running game and stopping the run, neither of which we do well on a consistent basis.

we need to stop tryin to establish the run early.
the run game is not our strength.
the offense needs to run thru dak and our receivers.
if we start out up tempo...dak getting the ball out early...spreading it around...getting different receivers involved we will win.
but if we come out trying to run the ball early...that plays to the steelers strength...we'll lose.
i've heard it all my life.
in the west coast...short passes are an extension of the run game.
we need to use more of it.
our strength is our pass game.
let'er rip.

mr Coog----i agree with many of your viewpoints.....and i might add...Dak has to have talk to offense we must carry the day today

Forfeit. Because it’s going to be a bloodbath.
mr Dejected can understand the pain...but no forfeit....if i could lay a PLAT i would lay a Quad PLAT but i promised no more this season....i have seen Cowboys with Dak play

tough football when everything stacked against him....i know we have had bad games too...but today i choose Positive and Joy and not negative and misery

If we run for over 100 yards we win. That assumes Dak is not knocked out of the game.

Contain Fields and stop the run.

Run the ball effectively. Neutralize Watt and keep Dak from being under duress.
:hammer: >>>>>That's a start....but I think the biggest key is gonna be stopping their pass rush....and I just don't see it happening. Sure feels like this could be another GB playoff blowout on national TV.

Weld the Steeler's locker room doors shut with them still in there.
