What are your thoughts on Ryan Flournoy

Gallup was a weird one. He made some big plays, some amazing catches but his overall production was lacking.
Just over 50% success on his targets overall, even in his best seasons. Should've never been the #2. Still, he made some great catches, but so has Tolbert — I think they're pretty equal.

He was definitely a happy surpise this year. Some stats on him

40 catches on 53 targets (75.5%)
475 yards
4 TD's
65% of his snaps wide
35% of his stats in the slot
A note: his breakout game week 14 he played 59.5% outside and 40.5% in the slot

Thats pretty good production for a #3 WR on a team with Lamb and Pickens. Similar to what we got in Wilson's walk year. His ability to play inside and out really helps us matchup hunt with Lamb with teams that dont have there top CB follow the top WR.

What do you expect from Flournoy this year
Im think he could be sufficient #2

Flournoy played like a legit #2 WR and if given the opportunity, who knows?

How do you "show more" than THIS? You gotta move him to #2 to SHOW more.

The cowboys can be one of the most mismanaged player scheme/management ever. We overplay some guys and underplay others. We let guys play injured when the shouldn't and sit when they should play.
And you don’t know what went on behind the scenes in every one of those transactions. I guess it’s easy for you to judge from the couch.

I expect a A lot from Flournoy!!!!

Flournoy reminds me a little bit of Michael Irvin. Very confident, competitive and good after the catch.

He did just what you expect a #3 WR to do. Keep him right their at the #3 spot

Sad that they wasted a draft pick on Mingo. Felt the guys they had on the roster would have sorted it out during camp and into the season.

Compare Flournoy to our most recent drafted receivers.

The Cowboys have drafted 18 WRs since 2000.

Flournoy is ranked 6th in receptions for their first two seasons. He is ranked 6th in yards and 6th in TDs. He is ranked 2nd in success rate.

Every other WR with more receptions in their first two seasons were either a WR1 or WR2. They were all drafted in the first three rounds.

Flournoy has the two-year stats of an emerging WR2 or higher. Perhaps he doesn't have the attributes of an elite NFL receiver but he is very productive.

If Flournoy takes another big step in his 3rd season then the Cowboys may have found a diamond in the rough.

I'm really high on this guy. To the point where if we traded GP for a 1st or a 2nd I'd feel good about acquiring the extra pick and playing Flo full time.

Huge Flournoy fan . Perfect compliment to Lamb Pickens the type of player who is going to deserve a second contract .

He is more like lamb, then he is Pickens. Underneath, rac type. Think he is a good number 3, but wouldn’t mesh well with lamb if he had to start
He’s a hands catcher, great trait for wr, there’s a highlight of him on YouTube for 2025 seasons, good hands, I would be ok with him as number 2 if they traded Pickens for Maxx or something….i think he can give as good as Gallup and more, and we had the to[ scoring offense with Gallup or Cooks as #2 in 2023. He catches well, runs hard after catch, blocks, turning into a good player.

Future WR2. Not sure he can be a #1 WR. Still a starter in this league.
Exactly…..good hands and a pure hands catcher….saw a video of his 2025 catches….,catches EVERYTHING with his hands and runs well after the catch, tough runner, blocks…..everything I want from a number 2 except maybe big deep threat? With Lamb,Ferg and a good run game, him at wr2, we could still have a good offense like we did in 2023 when we had the top O with Cooks at number 2 (or Gallup).

Before Gallups injury, he was way better than Tolbert. Not even close.

Flournoy drafted much later than either Gallup or Tolbert . Take a swipe at the FO the scouts and McClay but this pick was a DaRon Bland scale day three find . Hopefully Flournoy avoids the injuries setting Bland back .

Yep, too one dimensional for me, even though the one dimension was pretty good.

I like that Flournoy is well-rounded and tough.
