Yes. He’s clearly the engine, and you can’t get qbs for bargain prices. Rbs you can pluck off the streeet and/or draft in late rounds. False equivalence muchacho. And Dak was most certainly carrying the team this year
Didn't see that in the win column. I guess you and I value different things.
you said it yourself. “This is a team game and this is a bad team period”
that’s why it didn’t translate into wins. So no, we don’t value things differently, we just contextualize them differently.
of best back. Zeke's one of the best backs still, but I feel he needs to drop weight. He Needs to play at 223 or less to be at his best. I remember in training camp a few years ago, Zeke out ran chido for a td. That's impressive because chino's the same guy who hawked S Barkley. last year, so he has real speed. He ran with Julio 2 years. Who on the staff can get Zeke t commit to dropping weight? Is he dumb? Does he nt know that the more hits he takes the shorter his career is? More speed means more long tds and less hits.
You’re incorrect on so many levels unless you consider top 5 and top 10 in run blocking “average.” This year the O line is ranked 12th in run blocking which is the worst of zeke’s career. Our o-line isn't average. It's awful. It was average in 2017 and 2018. Its terrible now and NO one has ever produced behind a terrible line. don't try to bring up Barry sanders either because his line had 2 prowlers and his Line wasn't bad. it wasn't number 1, but it wasn't below average. He just overran his blocks and didn't play with patience. He free styled. Zeke had a great line for one season. the lines gotten worse every year. it was slightly below average last year. Now its the worst in the league. D Henry would be terrible with this line because he can't make you miss consistently at the line of scrimmage or behind it.
As would 90% of RB’s in the league, there’s several RB’s that did more with less.
Great RBs can produce behind average offensive lines.
Cant use that as an excuse for Zeke.
If Zeke wasn't tying us down with that contract I would consider drafting the RB from Clemson if he fell to the second round.
Zeke is way down the list of this team's problems, but CZ is so agenda-driven rational discussion about anything is pretty much out the window.
12th ranked run blocking isn’t good enough for the 2nd highest paid RB in the league? We could pick up a FA and have similar production for a fraction of the price.....be traded, since he is the Fall Guy here.....and have a half-way decent OL to go along with a decent OC.
First off there are two things that would first have to happen if he has any chance and that is HANG ON TO THE BALL and second a better line. But even those two things won't guarantee he will. Losing weight may help with his speed. He never had that lighting speed you think he had. His combine speed was 4.47 seconds and that was at his lightest of his career.
You may not like this but most backs production really drops after 3 or 4 years. Heck the average career length for a NFL RB is only 2.67 years. Yes there are some that play a lot longer like Emmitt and now Perterson but those are the exceptions. Elliott may be an exception to play longer but that doesn't mean he'll be a league leading back for those years.

Nope, but he's got company in the loser department. You just refuse to see it. Now I hope you dissect ALL the shortcomings this afternoon....but I doubt it. We already got Zeke to blame, even if injured. You don't want a hammy strain....you want a hammy tear. We talkin' injury????....not a game...injury.12th ranked run blocking isn’t good enough for the 2nd highest paid RB in the league? You would fall on the sword for that loser, wouldn’t you?
There he go.....we know you want JJ to go get him, some way, some how.....until he's ruined in the offense, until the talk of $$$.12th ranked run blocking isn’t good enough for the 2nd highest paid RB in the league? We could pick up a FA and have similar production for a fraction of the price.

Can you stay on topic or are you going to keep avoiding it by bringing up Lee, McCaffrey and other players who are irrelevant to the current discussion? There he go.....we know you want JJ to go get him, some way, some how.....until he's ruined in the offense, until the talk of $$$.
