What did you say when Demarcus Lawrence fumbled?

I started cussing in some unknown language, for a few seconds there I sounded a lot like the father from A Christmas Story when he was fixing the furnace. I transitioned into more traditional cursing, but there at first I couldn't find any words that were mean and nasty enough to vent my displeasure.

Later I was ready to cook him dinner. Glad the kid had a chance to redeem himself!

My 11 year old son burst out in tears. :lmao2: He was more crazy about the game than I was and that's saying something. Personally, I thought "well, that's what I'm used to.....crap".

Wilcox sure gave him an earful. Ironic since he made that critical bone headed late hit against the skins last year.

I started channeling my "inner Suh" and started to cry............I just knew Detroit was going to go straight down the field and score the game winning TD.................Even said to my brother that DLaw is going to be marked for life, just like Leon Lett.

When he redeemed himself I was jumping up and down on my couch till I got light headed from screaming so loud:laugh:

you stupid mother you know what!!!!

lay on the ball!!!

i was about as mad as you could be. ..

still not sure why i get like this at 47 years of age.

.........

Don't worry, I've got almost 30 years on you, and I still feel that way. It's our passion for the game, and the team that plays it.

I was already celebrating I didn't even see the dumbs get up and run then eventually fumble but man oh man when I seen Detroit with the ball again, DLaw got an expletive filled rant the rest of the drive until he eventually became the hero then it was all good again.

Man, you are telling me a seven year old girl understands situational football better than some professional players? That's depressing.

She watches every game that is on tv. Kind of annoying sometimes because there is a constant flow of questions, but yes she knew he should fall down so we could kill the clock. To be fair she didn't understand why it was first down again when Detroit got the ball back.

I flipped out and was in disbelief and still am. It all happened in slow motion. I saw him try to run with it and I was begging for him to get down.

I don't believe rookie mistake is a good enough explanation. What would possess him to do that?!

I'm with you. Rookie or not, you can't be that dumb in that situation. Makes me wonder about his football IQ going forward.

I had just turned off the mute (I dislike listening to game announcers) to listen to the crowd roar and simply sat there with a dumb look on my face. And then I saw Lawrence with Leon Lett on the sidelines and thought back to the snowy game vs. Miami...

1. I was screaming 'get down!'

2. I would have yelled every obscenity I could have if I wasn't in public. And even then I was contemplating it.

3. I told my friends that if Dallas loses the game there will be Cowboys fans that will actually blame Jerry Jones for Lawrence fumbling that ball.

When DLaw fumbles 1st thing I had to do was cool my dad off who went ape ****. My feeling were the guy better do something to help this team win this game or else he is in for a world of hurt for the rest of the off season.

Right when he stood up I started screaming "Get Down, Get Down!!!!"

I clapped my hands in anger. Then went downstairs to talk to my son (who plays football and was watching it on the television downstairs as I was watching upstairs on the HDTV) and tell him that's why you need to understand situational football. You need to visualize plays before they happen, talk to yourself before the play and tell yourself what you plan to do if you should get a turnover. "Fall to the ground, and the game is over. Fall to the ground, and the game is over. Fall to the ground, and the game is over."

As stafford was hit: "yes, yes, get it"

As Lawrence was tackled: "nooooooooooo"

Then I pounded the floor in anger with both hands like a 5 year old girl
I'm not proud

I wish I could have seen some of you all.
