I am not very impressed. Not many fake stunts or disguises.Watch the steelers when they play NE,lebeau will fake and drop guys,etc....he confuses captain america.I do feel on the other hand its early and takes tme to grasp a new system sometimes a year or two.

They do some good things, but I think they should switch up their coverage during the blitzing schemes more. ie, press (bump and run), zone blitz, man zone, etc.

If a blitz comes and you know what you're getting in coverage during that blitz, it makes it much easier to beat that blitz.

How about we let our defense learn the basics before we throw the defense under the rug. When Wade took over the defense in SD, it wasn't till his second year that the defense turned the corner. Give him credit, Parcells said the defensive players weren't capable of doing stunts.

I think it' more impressive than Parcell' schemes though I was expected more. Can' use the excuse about wait until this player is back from injury or that guy, because it' football always going to be starters out with injuries throughout the season at one point or another.

Going into the Dallas game, Brady had only been sacked a total of 3 times for the season. Against the Cowboys, Brady was sacked 3 times in that game.

I think you have to say that the pressure was there in that game. It was simply a matter of a good team making plays against the pressure and a Dallas defense that was on the field far too long.

Yup, I agree.

There were two or three plays where we nearly sacked Brady, the 'Boys were a step or half a step away from sacking him so it could have been 5 or 6 sacks.

Can we improve? Sure can but I think we are better than last year, in terms of QB pressuring and when Henry returns, I believe we'll be able pressure the QBs even more.

I think we have to give our defense time to fully grasp Wade's system. I also think our secondary is a lot worse (makes a lot of mistakes) then we thought particularly when we have to play Nate Jones. Also don't think Hamlin is making the kind of difference I had expected at FS. We'll know more and so will the Cowboys by Thanksgiving.

Brady has done very well against the Steelers during his career. He has faced them 5 times including the playoffs and won four of those games.

5 games
111 completions
166 attempts
66.9%
1259 yards
7 TDs
3 INTs
95.9 rating

We revealed some blitz stuff against NE that we had not showed all year. I thought we did a good job of moving around pre snap and not showing anything untill the last minute. I thought we were pretty creative and we will only get better at execution as the season progresses.

What I think is we turned on the last coach's "scheme" and it was only a matter of time before we're in all out revolt against Wade's. All the while being too ignorant to figure out what the real problem is.

We're going to the playoffs, and probably going deep. Sit back and enjoy it rather than worry about how flawed our "scheme" is.

I hear ya but....

we cant go by that... teams like NE get by real well when they are missing key players...

We gotta get this down and be effective. There will always be injuries.

i understand this but even if we get to the super bowl if we dont improve the pressure we will be toasted.2 good passing teams, two defensive meltdowns.and it had to be schemes because our players are for the most part very good highly drafted guys.

I keep hearing this "Only faced two good passing teams and both times we got burned"... Does it not make any difference to anyone that the Giants game was the very first game of the year, the very first with a brand new defense, and even the players have said they had several miscommunications and busted assignments?

Which, by the way, was to be expected.

Now this last game, no excuses. They were just better. But geez, you don't play a totally new defense perfectly seamlessly right out of the box.

The Coaching staff could have the best scheme ever but if the players, regardless where they were drafted, doesn't excute, then that great scheme doesn't matter. BTW, just because some players were high draft picks doesn't mean they are able to meet certain expectations.

You would think a level headed person could figure that out choco but it doesn't seem like it.

Lets face it people just complain to complain man.
