Judge Doty trumps those chumps
Possibly, but it hasn't helped as much in the past. Remember when we got punished for not breaking the law and colluding?

There are differences between RDE and LDE in the base (5tech vs 7tech) but they're basically the same in the Nickel which is about 50% of the snaps. Thus leading to my conundrum where we could easily have two guys we want to play RDE. DLaw might be that guy, but he did get two sacks, including a sack, strip, fumble recovery to end a game, in his last two games... things are almost certainly looking up for him.
big difference here is that Doty always rules for the players against the NFL. So your point is not supportable.
Maybe they will move Lawrence to LDE. On passing situations we would have a formidable pass rush with:
RE - Lawrence
DT - Hardy
DT - Crawford
LE - Mincey
It's Mara and Goodell and the Cowboys are involved. On what planet would he not get suspended with those two guys in charge.
It seems a forgone conclusion that Hardy is going to serve at least a couple game suspension for everything last year before getting here. During that time I would imagine DLaw will be playing RDE... so what happens if say he is averaging a sack a game (say 4 sacks in 4 games) and is in full beast mode prior to Hardy getting here. Who would you move over the the left side in that situation?
It will be interesting to see what Lawrence looks like size-wise come training camp. He's not a small guy by any means, and has the frame to put on more pounds. He isn't a quick twitch guy, so ultimately it doesn't matter too much if puts on a little more weight. At which point he'd likely be bigger (and likely just as fast) as Spencer, who no one really questions as being able to play the LDE position.Hardy can play anywhere along the line, inside or outside. Lawrence may be limited by his size and strength to RDE. In the circumstances I don't think anyone should assume that Hardy is the RDE.
I might swap Mincey and Hardy sometimes in that situation, but yeah not too bad.

Have Hardy line up at DT next to Lawrence and send a LB blitz and overwhelm that side.

Look at him relative to Crawford:

The thing is because of Judge Doty anything the NFL does could end up in a legal battle that will make them look even more foolish, lets not forget NFLPA rep election also if one of those over agressive former players gets elected Goodell could be dealing with some dogs that would make Michael Vick envious.
