Pollard isn’t terrible in pass protection.

He’s about normal.

All Zeke does is deliver a big blow anyways. It’s not like he’s the best blocker ever he just puts a big shot on the rusher.

stop it. It’s about not blowing assignments and executing blocks. You never see zeke blow an assignment like pollard did vs Minnesota
 
I think by the end of next season you’ll see more noticeable decline in zeke. If you can resign pollard for not crazy money, that’s probably the move.

No matter if he is eating pizzas or hoisting Lombardi trophies he isnt seeing 2025 at 15.4 million or 2026 at 16.6.

I promise that.

Spend a 3rd/4th in the 22 or 23 draft. Problem solved.

Have you seen Pollard's salary?

What if he ends up with 1,000 yards this season, we go far, and he knows it's now or never to get the long payday.

What do you do if Pollard holds out this offseason instead of taking the $600k or whatever chump change we're throwing at him?

Can we draft someone in time? What type of pick do you think we could get?
 
We have three good runningbacks on our roster right now. Rico Dowdle Jr should be easy to keep for cheap. So no worries for me.
 
To answer the question in 2023 you draft or sign a cheap street free agent or both and see who does better in camp. No need to dish out big money at this position again.

I would try to resign for cheap and draft a replacement for zeke.

I would think that they take a running back in the 3rd or 4th round of the draft this year.

Zeke just isn’t a bell cow anymore.
 
Get a replacement back for Pollard. I do not see this management letting Elliott walk and keeping Pollard.
