What do you think the plan is?

Some of my expectations:
They will cut Austin and designate June 1. Retain Ware (Closer to restructure than cut). They will extend Romo into his 40s and borrow from the Lee and Carr contracts. They will someone get a deal done with either Bryant or Tyron Smith and cite that deal as a key offseason player acquisition.

They will draft either Aaron Donald, CJ Mosley or Mike Evans and they will probably do so under the draft room watchful eye of yet another Saudi Arabian Prince... Or Phil Night or an AT&T rep or the owner of Pepsi.

I expect their round 3-5 picks will all be unanimously panned as an overreach and for that matter, their 2nd rounder will also probably be called a reach.

I'd also would guess that whatever we think our strength is, it will become a weakness by the start of the season and we will not have had any contingency plan for that.

Why does somebody like you even bother...Like Nostradamus make a million projections and some of them might come true

TWO good years...same as DB and doesn't fumble the ball away. Higher YPC also

One is a top 5 wr in the league and one is not top 75. Yeah 2 good years out of 4 for Dez and 2 out of 8 for Miles. He doesn't fumble the ball away because he stands there and watches the DB catch it instead.

If someone wanted to argue that he is better than Williams IF HEALTHY at least it is debatable. He is never healthy and has been a marginal wr for the last 3 years.

Plan? You think there's a plan? They better do something quick, they are starting to lose season ticket holders. I've spoken to six different people who are my seat-neighbors, and they have given up their season tickets. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do as well.

I would like to see some evidence of this 'plan' myself

I am up in the air on Miles. Whether or not they can get a deal done that is more friendly, I feel that he adds to Garrett's propensity to forget the run game. Sometimes I think you can have too many weapons and Dallas may have too many. I like Dez, Witten and would love to just build the o lines until they are the biggest strength.

The teams who I feel are built the best don't seem to have too many weapons--- just a philosophy that they try to perfect. 49ers, Seahawks of late but also Ravens and Steelers prior.

You would have been better off spinning a roulette style wheel over the past decade and a half when it comes to personnel decisions.

Hell, in 2009 - you almost had to try to be that bad in a draft.

It's mind boggling because we're a lot closer to a 6-10 team than we are a 10-6 team. I'm a firm believer in the BP quote that you are what your record says you are - but let's not be naive here, without Romo single-highhandedly keeping this team competitive we could be the Cleveland Browns right now. And he was a gift from the football Gods, no one saw that coming and without Quincy forcing himself out of town he would've been released in favor of the likes of Drew Henson and Quincy Carter.

Hey Einstein, the thread is asking for opinions. Mine tend to reflect where I see the state of the team. I also like to throw in my own sarcasm and whatever wit I can muster. Why do I even bother? Because this is my team now and will forever be and I tend to get involved and interact around my team. You are right about my opinions which are sometimes right and sometimes wrong. However, fans "like me" are loyal, can be objective and are always respectful.

todays big hd tvs and the replay and comfort of home with tons of affordable munchies is hard to pass up. An occasional game from the stands works for me.
