And the year before that they traded for McCaffrey, arguably the best RB in the NFL......not a big a splash as acquiring the coveted TY Hilton, but they do what they canAND picked up Chase Young and Randy Gregory during the season!
Hankins. Your turn.Ill ask you one better.
When is the last time the Cowboys signed a free agent of note?
On this board? Yes, people take issue with everything and anything.I was curious because you guys complain so much about it and I wanted to see what these teams did. I figured a few people would know. Is there something wrong with that?
Not sure if this is sarcasm. They traded for Hankins. And signed him to a 1 year deal. If that is a big time free agent aquisition for you I feel bad for you lol.Hankins. Your turn.
He comes to dallas we're still 1 and done!!The 49ers trading for CMC really put their offense over the top, without him they aren't the same.
Thankfully we were able to play an 8-9 team in the playoffs that year. Those 9-8 teams are tough!36 regular season and 1 playoff win.
Better question would have been, if we had acquired all those players that either team got, would it have put us over the top? Personally, I don't think so.not gonna troll...chiefs in the past few years have signed Joe thuney, Jawaan Taylor, Donovan Smith, Justin Reid, Frank Clark, Juju-smith schuster, Carlos Dunlap
49ers have signed Charvarious Ward (still hurts), Javon Hargrave, Tashaun Gipson, and traded for CMC, Chase Young, & Trent Williams.
Not each player is an All-pro but they definitely contributed.
LolThankfully we were able to play an 8-9 team in the playoffs that year. Those 9-8 teams are tough!
Yup. They must be joking if they think that a dude on his 5th team and beyond his prime is a big time aquisition. Not sure if this is sarcasm. They traded for Hankins. And signed him to a 1 year deal. If that is a big time free agent aquisition for you I feel bad for you lol.
Ill answer though. Last time they spent in FA was Brandon Carr. In 2012.
Something to think about.Better question would have been, if we had acquired all those players that either team got, would it have put us over the top? Personally, I don't think so.
Maybe, still better than anything on our roster though. He comes to dallas we're still 1 and done!!
Of course not ........ Jerry and Son does not know how to build a team.Better question would have been, if we had acquired all those players that either team got, would it have put us over the top? Personally, I don't think so.
We traded for Gilmore and Cooks. McCaffrey was a huge acquisition. And the year before that they traded for McCaffrey, arguably the best RB in the NFL......not a big a splash as acquiring the coveted TY Hilton, but they do what they can
Nobody is going nuts. The Niners have left no stone unturned when it comes to trading for and acquiring players, so it comical when someone suggests that the Cowboys way of acquiring players past their prime is a better way.The guy asks a simple question and some of you go nuts with all these strange inferecnes.
smh
Its not strange. If you look at his posting history propping up and discussing this FO.The guy asks a simple question and some of you go nuts with all these strange inferecnes.
smh
I never said we didn't trade for those two players past their prime.....hense the word, aquiredWe traded for Gilmore and Cooks. McCaffrey was a huge acquisition.
What he leaves out (not surprised) is the reason they traded for Cooks is because they traded Amari with no backup option and expecting Gallup to come back 100 percent. Again overrating their own talent, and not thinking ahead.I never said we didn't trade for those two players past their prime.....hense the word, aquired
