Also Tony worked alot with dez,
and threw high arching pass for
Deep balls, which were the jump balls.
Dak throws a lower long ball,
And maybe doesn't practice with dez as much as Tony did.

Dez got his big contract, and
He may step it up in next contract year, but don't expect much till then.

Those passes are intended to get him involved so that he'll concentrate. If he goes too long without touching the ball, he becomes completely worthless.

Walker.....I'm guessing you been watching NFL long enough this has been said about ALL WRs. Remember hearing all the time from John Madden about Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Sterlin Sharp just to name a few.

The FO made another blunder by signing Bryant to the big money. Like so many other FA's over the years once he got his money that was it. The FO should have known better with Bryant he always had character issues and was never truly motivated to learn his own job. He has always been content to play to the level of his natural talent and not push himself to become better.

Still can't believe they re-signed Terrance Williams so quickly. He is a serviceable #2 WR next to the old Dez. The current Dez and Williams makes for a lackluster passing attack. We are stuck with both for a few more years - Jerry loves Dez and the Glory Days. He will not get rid of his "Modern Day #88" to save money

That's a false narrative, because it doesn't include the opportunity cost of signing the players you are referring to. Had we signed them we wouldn't have that much cap room. You have to anticipate the cap room that will be needed for Martin, Lawrence, Irving and to a lesser extent Dak and Zeke on down the road. Nothing regarding the salary cap operates in a vacuum.

The idea that you wouldn't have resigned a WR coming off a 1,300+ yard 16TD season is difficult to believe.

Dez is not elite, stop acting as if he is. This team needs to draft a WR, a legit #1. Dez wold make a fine #2 or even a possession/goalline WR.

This is part of the problem.....team needs to address a few more areas before touching WR position. Julio Jones wouldn't hide this team's problems.

This wasn't that hard to see coming. We should have traded Dez back in the day when we could have received a first rounder and change for him and let someone else pay him. He was a mental midget who needed a full time baby sitter to stay out of trouble and refused to work on his craft. That's really all you needed to see at the time based on his contract demands.

Most overrated, overhyped, overpaid cowboys receiver in recent memory. Roy Williams comes to mind.
