Check this out.

absolutely a bad call where is the tripping there's nothing there they wouldn't show the replay on purpose because then what there be a controversy.. In my opinion too much is being focused on the two point issues at the end of the game that call kept the Cowboys from salting the game away that's the controversy so if the lions go look at that they gotta break they gotta gift then it got taken away the Cowboys fair and square won that game because if not we're gonna have to go back to all the other players in the game that were missed or there were bad calls against the Cowboys...

I don't feel so bad about the conversion after watching this bogus call. Hutchinson attempts to trip the runner yet we get called for it. Bonkers.
I totaly agree .The officiating fiasco against the Cowboys this season is easy to recognize.Dallas were not allowed to salt away the game. And also watch the replay ,Parsons is getting held and there is no calls.

Yeah we were all reacting right after the game so did not see the replays until much later. Bad call on Hendershot. If anything, MAYBE they could have called holding but definitely not tripping.
It looked like a great block. The tripping call was the correct call, just wasn't called on the correct player/team.

Lunda Wells loves how "twitchy" he is.

Seems to me all he does is commit penalties and frick ups faster.
You obviously haven't studied the player.

Hendershot has about the same level of talent was Ferguson. Some of you guys are just reacting without all the information. Seriously.

The woman NFL official incorrectly called this trip on Hendershot, who all y’all want hung from the gigantic scoreboard at AT&T stadium. When it should’ve been called on Detroit for trying to trip Pollard. Completely blown call AGAINST Dallas and caused all the ensuing drama
Yeah. My only question is why was it not corrected. Was obvious. Why did the other refs allow the the next play to take place .. They are all seeing it on giant screen TVs all around the stadium.

Wait, why isn't there outrage over this? Not a chance that's tripping
Because it happened against the Cowboys and it's okay for them to get screwed. Everyone has been conditioned to that after decades of it. Had there not been any controversy on the 2 pointer and the Lions win I can guarantee you that the talking heads would not even mention it today.

This is happening all over the NFL. Other fans are noticing also. Since gambling has been brought in things have gotten a little more strange with the calls or non calls. The non calls on Parsons are making things look worse… The Cowboys are one of the most watched teams on TV so we see the bad calls the most…

But to blatantly call a penalty edict is very specific, which clearly and obviously never happened, definitely smells of fixing and corruption.

True the tripping call was bogus it should’ve been calked on Hutchinson.
Really what the female ref threw because she wanted to call Hendershot for a block in the back, even though Pollard was being tackled 5 yards up the field by a lineman, but she saw the leg and said tripping but called Hendershot.

Regardless of all that happened with the 2pt conversion the play was an illegal formation penalty.
68 and 70 was covered up

It looks to me like Hutchinson tried to trip Pollard but missed. Hendershot was guilty of holding though. You cannot grab a guy and turn him like that. But holding is 10 yards which may have changed the way the Cowboys called the next 3 plays. With an extra 5 yards, maybe the Cowboys try to run the ball 3 times and pick up another 5 to 10 yards and then kick the FG. But who knows. The Cowboys throwing the ball 3 times there was just dumb. But clearly McCarthy felt that he needed to get a first down and run the clock out. Not an awful decision unless you throw an incompletion. But to me the problem was not just throwing the ball, it was the choice of plays. Why go deep on 2nd and 14? Why not just throw something underneath, get more yards and closer to the first down, but keep the clock running at all costs?

In the end it turns out McCarthy was right. The Lions got the ball back with time on the clock and easily scored a TD.
Here's the problem....they didn't call holding. So the only incorrect part was them calling the tripping on Hendershot and not Hutchinson. Absolutely just as bad and impactful. If they call the tripping on Hutchinson it is likely that the Lions never get the ball back.

They called tripping on the wrong team or the game is over and there is no 2 point conversion.

Just watch this.

Game should have been over on that drive if the right call was made.

Or if nothing was called foe that matter.

First and foremost, gotta be sound and NO PENALTIES in this scenario. Pollard ran for seven and we were about to close the game out at about the 25 yard line. So after the tripping, we were at 1st and 25. It appeared that CeeDee went for about 15 on the slant. Why were we at 2nd and 14 or am I confused? Why we threw on second down will be discussed all week.
Hendershot should be cut to send a message.

Honestly, what do they lose by cutting him? He is a dumb player who does dumb things.
You do realize that he did not trip anyone and it was a bad call right?

Thanks, you’re super late to the party after the footage has been released.

Hendershot is still a heavily penalized player who hurts the team more than he helps it though.
