SF had Dak confused all day. He played too poorly for any WR to really matter in the game.
Yeah and that's shocking to me. It was evident in year one....but why did it seem like he got WORSE in year 2? Not from a stats perspective.....but from concentration and focus? He needs to get his mind together because he has the physical tools. He's killed momentum and drives with some of his drops.Lamb is undisciplined and lacks focus and concentration. He’s very immature from a football standpoint.
"Cooper is a #1 that can be very reliable and dangerous."At the beginning of the year many on this site and around the NFL world thought the big 3 Dallas WR corp was the best (or top 3) in the NFL. All the talk was about how NFL defenses could never stop this offense with all of these weapons'. It sure didn't look that way most of the year and especially on Sunday. What happened?
Cooper is a #1 that can be very reliable and dangerous. His route running is the best on the team. But at the same time he seems to be very streaky. Get him going early or forget about it.
Gallup can make those tough, clutch catches. But, he also can drop the easy passes and is often over looked. Plus due to injuries he missed too much time this season.
CD Lamb is explosive and dangerous with the ball in his hands. But had way too many drops. His route running is poor at best and he seemed to decline as the season progressed. At times he looked awful.
There was no confusion at least not from what I saw....just had a bad game like he's been having half of the season.SF had Dak confused all day. He played too poorly for any WR to really matter in the game.

Still don't understand why explosive and CD Lamb continue to be used in the same sentence. I simply don't see it. Even when returning punts...I don't see explosiveness. Too often we label players based on what they did in college. It reminds of Reggie Bush. He was running by everyone as if they were standing still. He rarely was able to do that in the NFL. EVERYONE in the NFL is fast. All of this great "run after catch" accolades we attach to CD Lamb. Dez was much better with his run after catch than CD. Yet we talk about CD run after catch ability as if he is Jerry Rice.At the beginning of the year many on this site and around the NFL world thought the big 3 Dallas WR corp was the best (or top 3) in the NFL. He’s another Dez.
Sorry fellow Cowboys fans but Lamb is overrated. He’s good- but certainly not yet great. Bob Sturm of the Ticket has pointed out that Lamb is really only effective in the slot. His small frame makes him easier to push around at the los. His drops are numerous and often at terrible moments.
Lamb can improve- he’s young. But someone needs to light a fire under his behind. His penalty Sun for not being set is just an easy example of his lackadaisical attitude.
This guy needs a lot of work. He’s a gifted athlete but being gifted is not enough if you want to be better than above average.

Sounds like you still believe in that trio of WRs, even if they aren't the best. I bet you want all of them back next season.

The bus driver didn’t help them.

Lamb is starting to get real annoying, he is not on Chase or Jefferson's level
Last year he had Dalton and this year He had Dak
Agree. None are top 10. Each is lacking a key talent or skill that would put them at the next level.None of them is dynamic enough.
It was ment to be funny because Royce was ragging on everybody about Dalton in the beginning of the yearLOL, some of you guys are killing me, I see a lot of replies that are rolling me.
