He is still playing hard and making plays and he got the brave award last nite.Have u noticed how innaccurate he is on long or intermediate routes lately.Seems the pressure or maybe he is gunshy from the finger? He seems nervous in the pocket. He did protect the ball last nite, but he missed witten wide open,a few were horribly overthrown,etc.... maybe its just me but I think maybe they should trim the routes some here n there. He used to win games for us now he seems to becoming more a busdriver and if that works then so be it i just notice this change, especially when pressured bad.Could it be Procter?IDK.

As i think about it maybe ur right, but even on passes he is not getting pressured hes off.I think hes getting used to all the pressure like Ben and having to be gunshy.

Should I throw to Witten?
Yes? No? Yes? No?

Should I throw to T.O.?
Eanie, Meanie, Minee, Moe.

Should I throw to Crayton?
My mom told me to pick this one right over here. But I changed my mind and pick this one right over here.

Pitts game....running for his life, effects of pinky finger and throwing into a 30 mph wind in the 4th qtr

Giants game...back contusions as a result of running for his life...he got the crappola beat out of him in the 1st half....

has Proctor come up and out of his presnap stance yet?

Maybe his pinkie is still bothering him a little? Plus the fact that he probably was out of sync for a little since he missed three games. I'm not really sure though.

But hey no interception yesterday!

:lmao2:

I could not believe that. Romo was SACKED before he even moved. I mean, really??

Teams have a better understanding how he goes through his reads now and scheme accordingly. In addition Romo has been working on his mechanics since the offseason so his feel could be off.

my 2 cents. ever since he ditched the brace thingy he had to protect his pinky he's thinking about it IMO. this was visible in the pittsburgh game and to some extent in the giants game. facing two great front 7 can make anybody innacurate, but dithcing that brace has to have him fearful of hitting his hand on somebody's helmet. it was more evident in the pitt game. of course the wind, cold and fierce pass rush has a lot to do with it.

It's the 3 P's:

Pinkie
Pressure
Pocket

We need to roll him out once in a while...

Phil Simms said on WFAN today that he believes the Pinkie is still bothering Romo.

My gosh he was 20 out of 30 against NYG. That's a very healthy 66% completion percentage.

Give the Giant and Pitt defenses some credit.

Why is it that Cowboy fans never take into consideration the quality of the opponent when making general comments about the performance level of the team or a certain player?

It very likely is - usually takes about 3 months for a fractured bone to have good strength. On top of that, his practice time has probably been somewhat limited. Plus he had to learn how to throw with a splint and then throw without the splint.

Most quarterbacks would give their left arms to have those types of tough decisions to make.

That and a thumb and pinky injury.

His hand won't be right until the season is over.

Now about last night.

Can you imagine how hard it is to throw that 'drop in pass' to Witten when you back is beginning to stiffen up?
