Romo could barely walk out there, posts a 113.7 QB rating with no turnovers against a vaunted defense, wins the game .... and he's being called a bus driver? This from a guy routinely throwing for 300-plus just a few weeks ago?

Not trying to sound rude, but I just understand this thread. Not many quarterbacks are going to run up the score against Pittsburgh and New York.

And inaccurate? He completed 20 of 30 balls last night. Sure a few were off, but again, not being able to walk with a bad back will do that to a few balls.

He was off before the injury.I guess u didnt read the post,Im saying he is playing well minus his accuracy that we ae used to from him.I think its the fact that he is gunshy from the hand and pressure.Even when he has no pressure he has been off target multiple times. If u cannot see that get ur specs checked.Nobody is ripping on him, just saying he is missing open targets a lot.

Romo getting off to a slow start in a game is not unusual however he hit 66.7%of his passes in the game. Accuracy on long balls I don't think he has trouble with except when he has pressure bearing down on him as do most QB.

This is incorrect. He became notorious quickly for being very accurate on the run and being able to hit guys 20+ yards downfield in the process.

You don't always get the oppertunity to move out as pressure is coming from the outside as well as up the middle. Romo can throw the deep ball within or outside of the pocket and I have seen him do so. Deep ball for the most part are the least completed passes in the league and are not considered high percentage passes thus you are not going to hit a high precent of them.

What does Simpson have to do with anything? How much do you know about their relationship or how much time they spend together? What time does Romo get to Valley Ranch each day? You seem to know a lot about Tony and Jessica relationship. Please this is pure and utter non-sense

I'm just putting 2 and 2 together. Since they started seeing each other, his consistency has definitely waned.

So the guy has been off a little on his deep passes. I'm sure being hurt for part of the season, and having a bad back in the Giants game might have had something to do with that.

Once he starts hitting those passes, which he will sooner rather than later, this will be a dangerous team.

And playing a 1st place schedule with all 3 NFC East teams ranked in the top 6 in defense is not playing a role? Simpson does not have a thing to do with any of this.

5 overthrows and 2 underthrows last week. These are throws he used to consistently make under duress or not. How many times have we seen him hit TO, Witten, Crayton and even Miles in stride? He isn't as consistent with his accuracy on deeper balls as he used to be. Short pass accuracy is much easier to do, but deep ball accuracy takes a lot more concentration and practice. Thats a major reason there are many QBs that have arm strength, but suck throwing the deep ball. (Brady, Romo, Warner, McFlabb, etc are the few that can throw them with consistency)

Yet Romo is 2nd in the NFL with TD passes despite missing some games, has a completion rate of over 60% and the highest yards per completion in the NFL? Yeah Tony you dropped off.

It is funny because if Romo was dropping off as bad you seem to claim he would not be ranked as one of the top QB's in the NFL. Romo is not perfect but when compared to the top QB's in the NFL he is one of them.

It cannot be denied that Romo overthrew at least three balls against the Giants that would have resulted in HUGE plays had they been completed.

It cannot be denied that the same thing has happened in every game since he returned from injury.

The guy is a great QB and by far the best Dallas QB since #8. He is most definitely missing some throws that he rarely missed in the previous seasons.

Are you counting the pass to TO where there was illegal contact because the contact is the cause of the overthrow.

The Witten pass - I mean please - you are going to hold that one against him.

People continue to amaze me!

Are you saying that Romo has NOT overthrown a few wide open receivers in the last few games?
