As fans, we always talk about the need for change and the reality that Jerry Jones will never change unless he feels a devaluation to his 10B asset, a slowing of its growth or some other metric that he monitors. That being the case, I pose the question as to what you have done over the past couple of years to spend less, watch less, impact, etc. as a fan....

For Me

- No new Jersey - Have not bought a new Jersey in over 5 years, kids are simply handing theirs down and I have only bought 1 new childs jersey in the last 2 seasons for my 10 year old

- No Sunday Ticket - Did not pay for Sunday ticket this year (first time ever)

- Not going to a local game - Not going to my local game this year (Charlotte vs Dallas) - I am not wasting money to watch two of the worst teams in the NFL

- Have bypassed watching 2 games so far this year on local tv

Reality is that its going to take an army of fans to finally have had enough, tune out, stop buying things and show enough disinterest to get the financial message across and even then it still might not be enough to change the approach.

What have you give up / changed / done?

I will not spend one cent on the Dallas Cowboys. Only way to make things change is stop the money to Jerry’s pockets AND fans really crank up the pressure and stop believing what this buffoon is selling us! It needs to get nasty between the Jones and the fans/media

It doesn’t matter what we do as fans. as long as opposing teams continue to buy and sell out games he’s rich and happy

Honestly my Sundays used to revolve around the Cowboys games.

After watching the debacle of the GB playoff game, I told myself and my wife that should this team not do anything to improve in the off-season my interest level will not be the same.

Sure enough almost as if I spoke it into existence, this FO destroyed my fandom. By first saying the dumb "all-in" comment. To what Jerry said after about not realizing the cap situation, to then making it seem like they were moving on from Dak to just sign them to record setting deals a week before the season started was the end of it for me. What was the nail in the coffin this season? Jerry saying "they couldnt afford Henry."

This fan base knows more about the salary cap situation than the GM.

I made a decision after this off-season that my Sunday would no longer revolve around this team. After seeing the players and how they are playing, no effort, no heart, I decided that if they dont care, neither do I.

I have stopped watching night games all together. Just isnt worth me being tired at work the next day. I spend more time with my wife now and I am more present.

I am giving Jerry and this team what they are giving me. And it aint much.

Have bypassed actually cheering, yelling and making a lot of noise. My wife actually sleeps well when we have late games! We score or do something good (whenever that happens) i'm like "oh ok that's nice" I don't have the same love for this team this year, if we win, we win, kind of want us to lose since Jerry went all in, he didn't care, why should I

The same here. I absolutely won’t spend a dime on the team and the league. I also don’t build my days around watching the game. I just don’t care enough. The apathy is glorious by the way.

Way ahead of you

Last Jersey I bought was a Roy Williams 31 jersey in 2002

Last time I went to a game was on Halloween in 2004 at Texas Stadium 20 years ago ...... We beat the Lions.

I will never buy anything else until we win another Super Bowl.
Only jersey I bought since Roy was Romo and Witten in 2007. I was also at that Lions game in 2004.

My poor wife. She thought she was doing something nice by buying me a Cowboys shirt a couple years ago. I wasn’t happy and didn’t pretend.

I still watch every game though. My streak is important to me and I’m not letting Jerry steal everything. He will get his eventually.

100% with you. I've just had enough. This team looks like it has quit on its coach.

I'm laughing. Laughing every time the Joneses speak, laughing at my absurd fandom, laughing at the happy fans. Laughing at the whole damn situation.
Me too, I don't let the issues compromise my preferences or pocket choices. Good fellowship and fun, even amongst other teams' fans as long as there's avoidance & awareness to TV smashers, jersey burners, fools, and the like.

I switched to rooting for the Bills. I live in the NE and had my fill of the Cowboys. It's nice not dealing with an owner/GM who thinks he's the smartest man in football. Go Bills..!!!
