I don't think ANYONE watched the AFL. It's like ping pong entertaining for a minute or two, but gets old fast.

Plus the it says "major Philadelphia sports team", again I would not call AFL a "major sports team".

This coming from a guy with hockey in his signature, they dont even show that on ESPN, they show hot dog eating on ESPN....with texas and cali...shouldn't u be a Dallas Stars fan...whatever...PLUS it was sarcasim....

Well I never claimed hockey is a major sport many would consider it a major sport though(not as big as the NFL, MLB, NBA), but it is an established sport with a world wide following. It is televised on NBC from time to time, and even is big enough to have the NHL Center Ice package(similar to Sunday Ticket). It is also the features North America's oldest trophy, being in existence since 1915. As to being a Stars fan, unlike many teams the Cowboys have a nation/world wide following. Hence the "America's Team" moniker, I am actually in California but have roots in Texas.

I guessed I missed the  and my comment was meant to be half truth half tongue in cheek hence comparing the AFL to ping pong.

You forgot to mention this http://www.phillysucks.com/

When you guys going to win something?

Wow good find! Thanks for the link.

Did you guys read those Hate Mails on that site ? Have a look there they are worth reading. I especially like that one (more of a Love Mail ;-)):

The difference between Linda Lovelace (from Deep Throat fame) and the Philadelphia Eagles is they both might blow a few now and then but at least Linda doesn't choke on the big ones.

Given the sticky at the top of the fan forum page, I will refrain from my desire to throw abusive language toward our friend who admires his Eagles.

Your rhetoric regarding the impending dual between our beloved Cowboys and The Empty Trophy Case, it's obvious that you are Reid's son disguised as an Eagles fan. Your obvious hallucinations, with the exception of Lewis, have been manifested by the use of many narcotics that are cloudy your judgment and severely limiting your ability to make rational comments. But that's understood. The Eagles are a family and continue to choose to share their medicinal-induced abarritions.

Good luck this Monday as I am sure your hallucinations will be in constant battle with reality. Your Eagles will get a reality check.

One final thought ... the Iggles suck.

The best thing about these kinds of troll-posters, is that after Monday night's thrashing of the Eagles, he'll stop coming into the forum until the next time we meet on in late December. They always do.

Cowboys...on the road.

Eagles...at home.

Every year, the Iggles DESTROY some hapless opponent... and their fans start feeling froggy...

And every year, they follow it up by dropping a huge, steaming mound on the field in the next game...

You could look it up...

I know I shouldnt quote that picture and clutter up the board...but that is just too funny. I dont know how I missed that last year at the stadium.

Maybe the visiting Iggles fans had bought out the entire inventory by the time you got there...

Actually, it reminds me of last season's Eagles thrashing of the Lions (when they were wearing their hideous throwbacks...)

McNabb threw 21 for 46 with 4 TDs and 381 yards... absolutely dynamic performance (against a miserable team i might add)

The next week against the Giants, 15 for 31, 138 yards and didn't see the endzone.

The Eagles fans have always gotten hyped by beating a miserable team (i.e., on this past Sunday) and then they sink back into their rat holes after they get beat by a real team.

Oh yeah, and remember I said this... McNabb will whine about racism or lack of respect or something in his post-game press conference after Monday night. You can bet on it.

The last time the Eagles won with a blowout was against the Lions 56-21 and then lost 16-3 to the Giant. I'm just glad we get to humiliate the Eagles on national t.v. I just wish we were doing it in Philly.

How about "classless." I thought Eagles fans were the ones with no class--that stand is out of bounds.

First and foremost...my Eagles or your cowboys have yet to play a substantial opponent....Steve Jackson was trying to feed his family on limited funds and Derek Anderson still couldn't look into light hours before the game still recovering from when he bamboozled by the G-men...but here is what I think will go down this weekend...

Big Flo will have 5 false start penalties...and despite no movement from anyone on the field, besides him, will point at the eagles d at least 4 of the five times..

Marion Barber will have 100+ yards and a touchdown by halftime....he will then get Reggie Bushed aka Steven Jacksoned by Sheldon Brown when Romo floats a pass in the flats....He will defend his man hood by popping back up and shake his head as he growls to the stands, this vicious head banging dedication to the cowboys faithful will cause a neck strain, sidelining him for the season....

JJ will order the barbarian get an uptown fade...he will look like Pacman by the fourth quarter…

MeSean Jackson will continue to get his roll on....his 4.35 speed and fluid patterns are no match for Pacman and the rustiness that won’t go away.... Brayland runs 4.5 and got behind your defense twice....is he catches both those balls, Cleveland’s sporadic game plan changes and the game is not such a blowout...but I will concede, still an easy win for Dallas

McNabb will get horse collared by Roy at some point in the game...as usual....And Roy will protest the penalty...as usual

LJ Smith will drop two passes in the red zone and will have an apparent injury he was playing through to provide as an excuse at the post game press conference....

Jessica will be at the game....lets just face it....Joe Simpson, aka the guy who really wishes he was dating Romo will also be there....She will get blamed for the loss...The big Korn will comment on her repeatedly....It will become awkward…

In an eerie resemblance to the Danny Almonte story, Felix Jones birth certificate will be found...he is actually 45....Jerry Jones will save him for the playoffs, cautioning the media of possible hip injuries playing with these young dudes

Dware will cover Westbrook in the flats, and there will be a dedicated thread on the zone asking why.....

T.O. will mug for the cameras at least 5 times before the game starts.... he will drop 3 balls and one in the endzone...he will not cry at the postgame press conference though....

Now with all the BS aside...

I think the game will be one of the best on Monday night football this year with my birds winning 27-24....

I also thank you for the empty trophy cases I will receive as replies by the homers who don’t even read posts, but then post lackluster replies...and FYI
Not one of these....

That takes way too much effort

And I will have joy in seeing Mr.Sacamano changing his record to 1-1 under his name

Very comprehensive post.
