What if Cowboys Lose Sunday?

Many fans and Pundits are taking the Cowboys being the 2 seed as a given.
I'm fairly confident they will win but what if they were to lose?
It would be the most cataclysmic moment for this franchise in recent history.
I can't imagine how irate the fanbase would be and if you thought the Cowboy haters in sports media were insufferable before, multiply that by a Billion!
McCarthy would have to be fired, Dak's reputation would suffer immensely and the franchise would be a laughing stock.
they need to play extremely well and be ready for playoff football Sunday. A loss against WC resting their players would be the end of the season, essentially , and while I am not sure about firings, would be a major stain upon this organization.

They need to have the game out of reach by the 4th so they can rest starters, if at all possible.

Oh heck I feel your passion and your pain if we were to lose but we still make the playoffs.

And besides there's nothing DAk and McCarthy could do that could be worse than what Romo and Garrett had done.

Romo if I remember correctly through an interception to Jackson on the last game of the season playing Washington and we missed the playoffs.

I'm a little concerned about the weather they're going to be playing in we're not a cold weather team other than that I think we got this some home field advantage I'm liking it.

They already ruled out Allen and Fuller. Their injury list is long. Lots of business decisions being made by players.
Exactly.........wish fans would calm down coz there's no way the Commander's owners and executives wanna win this game. It would not surprise me if Rivera has a mandate to play several 2nd/3rd string players for evaluation ( wink ) purposes.

If we win, we’re automatically the 2nd seed. Even if we lose, Philly still has to win to secure the division. It’s in our hands completely.
you just made my day, thank you sooooooooooooooooo much!!!!

Dak is the leader of the team. I been told I over and over.
If you have ever watched micd up on the sidelines you'd know exactly how dak can inspire the d.

You have. Not sure why you are objecting to it.
Because the quarterback is not the miracle. He’s just one guy on a team. Most important guy, maybe. I don’t think it all lies on his shoulders, good or bad.

Not happening man.

Totally.

I get it. This team has played poorly on the road and poorly in these kinds of games in the past— so PTSD response is a thing lol

But I just see us flushing the Commodes tomorrow— and their fanbase and FO high fiving each other as they swirl the drain and dream about the #2 pick in April lol

Well...now (sigh) you are arguing things I never said.

I never said "miracle" nor did I say "it's all on him".

So I'm not sure how to proceed, other than just let it be.

Washington will 100% do things throughout the game that they would not normally do and end up losing.

What we don't want to see, is the Cowboys doing stuff they normally would not do, and turn this thing into a 4th quarter game.
If it's close..then I could see Washington going for the win. We need to come out and hit them in the mouth and put this game to bed early.

Nothing will depend upon anything except playoffs.. We get 2 seed and lose in Rd 1 or 2 he should go

I find it quite hilarious when people through out ONE play, to prove Romo was a choker. No context about how we got there, or what the defense did to contribute.

I watched romo have to go out time and time again, put the team on his back, take the risks...and it's only a matter of time until the numbers turn.

"look at what ROMO did in THAT game!" . All romo's fault.

Let’s ask a very specific question - is Sam Howell starting because “he’s a company man”? ie: He’ll get McLaurin his 54yds to make 1,000 then throw a couple of “unfortunate” picks to ensure the draft choice…
So you are saying he gives them the best chance to lose? :muttley:

I am nervous about this game on the road. The one shining light is that washington gives up the most points per game, so we should be able to out score them even if our defense lays an egg. I’d like to think Rush plays the whole 4th quarter but it’s hard to believe in this team.

IF the Cowboys lose tomorrow, then expect another loss next weekend and we can all move onto others sports we like to follow lol
