I think all of your excuses run in an odd direction.
I don't think excuse is the right word there.

Neither apply to my apparent blasphemy. I will say no more.

You're absolutely doing both of those to apologize for Cousins pitiful record against competent football teams.

Kinda funny since Romo rewrote almost all the franchise QB records as an undrafted player.
Romo is better than Dak...although the move to Dak was the right one. Romo made a LOT of plays OUTSIDE of Garretts offense.

I can tell you how I felt about Romo. I felt if he got the ball with 2 minutes left in the game. He was probably going to give you a great chance of winning. I don't get that feeling at all right now. But Romo shouldn't even be part of this discussion. We're talking the future. The future is a franchise QB.

Im sorry. That was my bad. I should have prefaced why I asked. I see how your were passionate about mentioning the things that u thought that hurt dak. I was just curious if you gave Romo the same rope. Thats all. Its not a dig at all on you at all and i should have neber even asked u but i remeber reading for years hpw everything was Romos fault but for Dak its ok to bring up the rest of the flaws of rhe team. Thats all. I apologize. It was not an attack at all. I should have been more clear

I think Cousins is on the edge of becoming a top 10 QB. So shoot me.
How does that relate to my argument regarding his performance against good teams in comparison to Dak? How does you making excuses for their respective performances relate to that? I know what you're claim is, I just haven't seen you support it and your responses to people pointing out the substantial holes therein leaves a lot to be desired.

What if his passing gets better? Why not think about that as well?
Dak will be fine, but they need a real QB coach to help him through those moments, keep him calmed down. It is apparent in his high throws.
Romo was his mentor and guide and QB coach.
Wilson is horrible, what has he ever done for any QB since he has been here.

Why this team is so stubborn to keep coaches around that do nothing is beyond me. They finally made a change and brought in Greg Jackson last year, and he helped the secondary. Not sure about this year, but they all mostly all new. I will give the that.

I truly do not think Leon Lett is adding anything to the DT's. Or so it does not seem like it. Maybe he is, but better players help.

Dak went to sessions with a QB guru during the offseason. I can't help but wonder if that "guru" did him more damage than good . . .

It's a valid question. Dak has shown real consistency and accuracy issues. He can hit wide open receivers maybe 80% of the time. Will his accuracy improve enough? Or is it just going to be acceptable he can't throw in a tight window? The Cowboys will never get to that level with a QB who is "just pretty good". As you've seen already, teams have a plan for Dak and it's achieving results. His play action rollouts are going to have a LB waiting for him more often now. Keep him in the pocket. He's average from there.

So is this what it's going to be for the next 3-4 years? You've got to ask yourself...

What young QB has steadily improved every year? Throws with anticipation? Stands in the pocket? Leads his receiver instead of only throwing outs and comebacks? Can make every throw required. And just so happens to be a free agent 2018? Don't tell me you haven't thought about.

Kirk Cousins.

How often does a QB, seemingly ready to take the next step come available to the highest bidder?

1) How awesome would it be for the Skins to be dumb enough to let him get away?
2) How awesome to let him get to a hated rival and have nobody to replace him with?
3) A plug and play QB who has the possibility to throw for 4500 yards if needed.
4) A QB motivated to remind his former team of the mistake they made twice a year for the next 8-10 years.

A pretty bold move to make. One that might be best for the team.
The fact that your post has received 1 like to this point should tell you that you are way off in your analysis.

If he's still crapping the bed by seasons end drafting a QB will be essential.

I just want what's best for the team. He's just too limited with his skill set.
