What if Dak Suffered A Season-Ending Knee Injury?

Everyone said the same thing would happen when Romo went down in 2016.
Not everyone but more than enough people did. A rookie quarterback appearing in or helping a team win a championship. Never before done in Super Bowl history before or since. Some people, who were not among everyone, mentioned that fact back in 2016. And since.

I don't even like to deal in hypotheticals like this. Dak goes down and the season's likely over. He's QB1. Rush couldn't handle it long-term and his flaws would start showing. Lance isn't even remotely close to ready.

Why not speculate on what happens if Micah goes down, or Lamb? Best to not even worry about it and hope for minimal injuries across the board.

ok hypothetically Dak blows out his knee early in the year. are you rolling with CRush or Lance for the rest of the year. i’m seeing a lot of hypotheticals on here so i’m adding to the thread count.
If it happens early Rush is the only option. Lance has to learn the playbook. Once he does I'd give him a shot unless the team is on a roll with Rush.

Some folks everyday lives are wrapped inside a self-made Kobayashi Maru. The worst case scenario is almost always chosen. Parsons or Lamb do not fit the criteria, so they will never scream 'KHAN! KHAN! KHAN!' over them on a discussion board.

Even if rush played all 17 games I'd expect dallas to make the playoffs. The nfc is really weak last year and this year.
Nfc is not weak. 49ers and Eagles have great teams and there’s some sleepers like Seahawks. They just don’t have hype like the AFC.

Yeah, but I don't even think Dak can get us to the SB. He's proven to me he's a choker but even I know that if he goes down, the chances of success drop to almost zero.

I play Rush 4 games and pray the defense wins them because Rush certainly won’t. Then it’s Lance time.

How do we know what Rush will do? According to many here dak played with no playmakers on offense and a bad offensive line, Well Rush did too and won 4 out of 5 games. shrugs

You go with Lance.

Rush has no future.
I agree. If Dak is out for the season I say we roll with Trey and see what he can do. We know what we got in Rush and we know Rush isn't a long term solution. That would completely waste the season. If we learn Trey is the long term solution or he flames out then we'll know everything about Trey and then act accordingly.

Really? Just stop. I find it in bad taste.

What if Dak chaffed his lips and there was no chap stick to be found.

Well let's hope rules are reminded for all the personal attacks and use of terms like hater and troll towards anyone critical of Dak.
Don't worry, you're safe, I assure you.
