I’d be ecstatic. Lamb is a beast.
But here we are. Another bunch of pages of garbage asking the same questions and getting the same response as the other thread. Some of us don't want to wade through 629 pages on each individual subject. We prefer the condensed threads on the various nuances that relate to it.
How are you guys going to react if we draft a WR like Lamb if Kinlaw is on the board and available when we pick at #17. It could happen.
We have been at odds about Cooper in the past, but I do agree with you that he is not a true alpha. He is more 1A. They way his contract is structured, he needs to become an Alpha. Lamb is an AlphaI wouldnt mind it, as long as its one of the big 3 (Ruggs, Lamb, Jeudy)
1. Right now, we have nothing behind Cooper and Gallup
2. This QB needs all the help he can get on offense
3. Kinlaw has knee concerns
4. I predict the F.O will want to get out of Cooper’s contract after year 2. A receiver here will make that ALOT easier decision if he underperforms
I disagree. If Kinlaw or Henderson is there I'm ok with taking them. If Lamb is there I'm taking him over Chaisson or McKinney. Gallup has this year and next year on his contract. It's very possible we aren't able to resign him and having Lamb will make it easier. Also, Cooper most likely isn't getting another contract after his 5 years is up and now you have Lamb who contract would be up at the same time. It's not about just a 3rd receiver/slot guy. There is no point in going WR in the first when what we need is just a WR3 and they can be had in like the 4th or 5th round of this draft. I will not be happy if we don't come out of the first with a defensive player. The pick should be Henderson, Kinlaw, McKinney or Chaisson (and that is probably my preferred order).
I don't disagree with drafting a WR in later rounds but it would be nice to have a prolific WR in early rounds 2-3. MM love WR in the 2nd so I don't expect that to change.
Yeah, but I can read 3-4 pages before getting bored with just about any subject. I tend to skip the threads that already have 700 hundred replies. Sure I could just read the 1st few pages, but my brain doesn't work like that. But here we are. This thread may as well have been “Dak. Sign in or not sign him. Go!”
I just want them to take a future hall of famer. Is that too much to ask?I just want them to take whoever's higher on their board.
Seems like, without exception, the Cowboys always get in trouble when letting need dictate them away from BPA.
No, not at all. I’ve heard that it’s super easy to find those guys at #17I just want them to take a future hall of famer. Is that too much to ask?
Unless your crystal ball predicts that they are tthe reincarnation of Jerry Rice, then I think “much better” is a highly suspect description. If Lamb or Juedy fall to 17 they are much better players than Kinlaw and we need to take the WR.

even if they are marginally better, the second best DT in the draft is nothing to sneeze at.
inwouldnt take either. Give me Fulton. Second best CB on the board and our biggest need sounds good to me
Even Bridget, who has both overrated, and I’m assuming Is your basis, doesn’t have either of them top 8.They are in a different tier than Kinlaw. They are arguably top 8 talents this year and he’s top 15ish.
His upside is exciting, but he’s not as polished and there’s more risk involved.
