What if we drafted Ramsey, would Darius had rushed for 1400 yds?

All things considered Ramsey would have had a better impact in this team long term.

And the fall back would have been a strong fast explosive Rookie rbwho would have flourished behind this line just like Murray and McFadden and Elliott 3 years 3 Rbs Darius would have flourished.

Rbs don't last long theres a cliff. Zeke seeks out contact. Just saying

Ramsey wow. 13 yr caear

LOL

Bro where did you get your crystal ball?

Can I get one? Or borrow yours for a minute?

I always get a kick out of reading these purely speculative rants stated as though they're fact.

Very self serving.

I dont know, I hope Exiekiel is done with the BS but I doubt it, seriously how do you lead thw NFL in rushing then do something as stupid as he did.

Honestly I dont trust him but thats just my opinion.

I know Darius is gone but he was a strong cut back runner that would have gained alot of yds on this team
I pulled a womans shirt down who told him to pull it down and then partied with her in Florida after. Yah, God forbid he has fun. He should be all football all the time. Get a grip man. Hes 21 years old.

Somebody feelings hurt because their boy didn't get picked....lol
Ramsey's such a beast, Yet I didn't see anybody gushing about him last season.
Elliott made the oline, defense, and Dak job easier. Ramsey isn't having that kind of impact.

I know its against inferior talent, but isnt that what Dallas' O Line makes the NFL defenses look like. Darius never came on the World stage with a corny half shirt nor did he pull a womens top down.

I know I know hes a Cowboy with 1600 yds on his resume.

But that cheesy smile is kind of annoying. Hes got intitlement written all across it.

1 season greetness followed with those shenanigans .

Is your handle the answer to the question, How long have you been watching football?

Posts like this make it seem like we did not just go 13-3(should've been 14-2) last season riding Zeke.

We would've been lucky to win 8 games last year if we picked Ramsey...this is unbelievable. You better get used to that big head and cartoonish smile because he's going to be the face of your favorite football team for the next 5 years at least.

Not enough Anthony brown in this thread.

Instead of comparing the best RB in the league to a Browns practice squad player and lamenting our misfortune, let's bask in the fact we still grabbed an awesome CB in the 6th and pat ourselves on the back.

I thought Ramsey was the better use of draft capital at the time, but you'd have to be a special breed of silly to question it now.

Just claim your account was hacked and lay low for a bit

Here is my issue with the premise of this thread.

It assumes an outcome where there is no basis of proof.

Would the Cowboys have won at the rate they did if they passed on Zeke? Maybe.

But going forward, how many wins will be attributed to Zeke's ability to close a game ut by keeping the ball. The notion the offensive line makes the running back ignores that even when a RB gets to the second level without being touched, there is still football to play there and not just a foot race to the endzone. Now we saw two plays in tne Pitts. game which ended up being foot races. But in that same game with the screen we saw Zeke make every move correctly to get to the foot race at the end.

I think what if is a great game. This is noting against the OP.

But any idea this team would have been 13-3 with a lesser back and Ramsey seems overly optimistic about Ramsey's ability to lift up ten other guys around him.

Absolutely. Why compare...I mean, why noy say the same thing about Smith and JJ Watt.

I wanted Ramsey and Henry at the time, but I'm more than fine with what we have. If the draft had not fallen how it had, we may not even have had Dak. If Jaylon Smith pans out, then I will see we easily made the right choice in the first 2 rounds.

It really depends on if Jaylon can play.

I've been on the Ramsey/Henry side over the Zeke/Jaylon side but if he turns into a good linebacker, I'd obviously be wrong.
We didn't need to draft Henry.

No matter who we took in the 2nd we should have taken Ramsey over Zeke.

Lol don't know if serious but I think we did ok this year in addressing the CB position, time will tell but I wouldn't trade one of the best drafts in Cowboy history that yielded us a franchise RB and QB.

I am one of the ones that believe that Daks success was due largely to the fear that Zeke put in defenses. You can't deny all the things that Dak did well, no matter who the running back is, but the defenses he had to face were much easy to disect when those teams had to worry so much about Zeke breaking the big one on every play.

I don't want anybody to jump up and down and say I am not giving Dak any credit because I absolutely am, he played great last year, he converted third downs and did much more than you could ever hope for but other than Leveon Bell, I don't think there is another RB in the NFL that is more feared than Zeke and Fournette will not even be close either IMO.

Ramsey last year would have resulted in Cowboys taking Dalvin Cook this year.- and probably a bit earlier in the draft.

.Emmitt would not make this commercial

You are full of it.

Emmitt did a reebok commercial where he was in a bathing suit in a pool wearing his reeboks.
