Most of the whiners on here about Jaylon or any other player do not know what their assignments are. But yet feel they must be over critical. A player can’t make every play. Take LVE’s advise he gave to Micah. It is not always your play to make.
I am not sure if he will regain his play from a few years ago or not.
But I will wait until the regular defense is out there with a few games played. Before I even begin to judge him or anyone else.
I refuse to follow someone that whines just to jump on the wagon to be accepted.
I can only see Jaylon as extremely expensive depth at this point. While we're bagging on Jaylon, let's not ignore the fact that Gifford looks horrible, too.
Well hindsight is 20/20, didnt know in march that we would be drafting Parsons and Cox.Based on last year's play, it was just crazy to not cut Jaylon this March before this year's salary became guaranteed.
AgreeHe will play this season and likely will be cut next year to save some cap money. His position on the team has been filled just that no one has told him yet. Obviously will be used by DQ in his scheme, but sparingly. I don't see any trade likely since a team will just wait for the Cowboys to cut him. His injury his senior year really ruined his career, he was lucky Jerry gave him some money to take care of his family.
I disagree teams have cut or traded players with higher cap hits. where there’s a will there is a way.
It would cost the team 10m in cap space that they don't currently have to cut him.
I only see three possibilities left for restructure....Lawrence, Cooper and Elliott.
Doing so would likely keep one of those here longer than the team wants to, just to get rid of Smith.
As much as the guy disgusts me, I'd rather keep him here until we can better absorb the dead money.
I'm confident he will play his way out of the lineup sooner than later.

Chute on or off??Here’ my idea….,
