Let him hold out. He has no leverage at all.
Funny thing happens when money stops coming in and bills need to be paid, and with no endorsement $$$ coming in, brother, it gets hot in the kitchen pretty quick.

i wonder how fast he runs out of $
:lmao:

no, the big picture is to corner the agent so that he gets fired.
how that is done, it does not matter.
the important thing is to let the other agents know their $ is at risk.
in this case, zeke has 2 years left on his contract, so his agent is the perfect whipping boy.
if you read the op correctly, you will understand.
Stop trying to renege. We're talking about you wanting to talk about someone's wife and mom.

You said: "yes talk crap
enough crap to the point the agent is cornered.
i have been on the receiving end and giving end of that, works quite well."

So yes it's fair to say you cave at your mom jokes.

ok i get u now.
only it was not mom jokes
it was race jokes, but either way, it can be effective depending on the person.

So you're caving to race jokes now:facepalm:

Or making them in negotiations:facepalm::facepalm:

no, actually the other side used race stuff with me and made me annoyed.
did get me upset and did not think clearly.
everyone has a button or two, so i learned from it.

but what matters is to put the agent in the corner.
just force him to lose his client because they got the leverage - 2 year contract with franchise tags to follow.

Only if the other person is an emotional idiot. A grown man would think you're a fool.

I'll have try that my next labor contract. I'll fire off a "your mom" joke or something racial. I'm sure that'll get things off on the right foot.

Why? We only saw a half season of production. Additionally, Coop's ability to prove it depends on Dak. And we all know that is iffy. Pay Zeke he's earned it. Give him a dollar more than Gurly. I think they are only 1.5 million apart. Let Dak and Amari prove it. Sign them mid season.

Because a first round pick was given up for him. Secure him. If he goes to FA, he may be lost.

Not only is it a few million per year.
Not only is it a huge cap hit if he gets suspended or banned.
It is also all the negotiations to follow.
If the Jones allow Zeke to force the highest pay for a RB 2 years before his contract is up, what will Dak, Cooper, LVE, BJones, Chido, Woods do?
Will everyone start holding out 2 years before their contract is done?
That means Chido and Woods could hold out after the season and LVE the season after that?

If I were Stephen, I would make an example of Zeke's agent.
Make it totally personal.
Curse at him, degrade him, talk about his wife and his mother, do whatever it takes to make Zeke realize that a deal cannot be done as long as he has the same agent.
Force the agent to get fired or else Zekes' career is in limbo.
Set the precedent.
So all other agents know what can happen.

Simply make this statement:
we made Zeke an offer to be the top 2 paid rb.
he did not take it.
that is the last offer.
we are not trading him.
he can play for the cowboys or not at all.
have a nice day.

Lmao, no you wouldn’t. And if you did, you’d rival Bill Bidwell and Mike Brown for worst owner

what i wrote was: "Curse at him, degrade him, talk about his wife and his mother, do whatever it takes to make Zeke realize that a deal cannot be done as long as he has the same agent."

the big picture is to do whatever it takes to get the agent fired, within legal limits.

the upside is that other agents know their $ is at stake. the your momma or your wife is just an illustrative example. i dont really care what they say as long as it gets the job done

simple analogy.
dont fold when you hold a full house.

Dallas doesn’t have a full house. Zeke won’t accrue a season, but he can show up for the final 6 games, just enough that he makes that 5th year salary next year, and derail the season.

he cannot derail the season as no one will pay him.
they have 2 years and the franchise tag.
he needs to learn that his entitlement can end at any time if the owners decide to turn it off.
