Imagine being a football fan & thinking the tackle stat means much lmao. Not all tackles are created equally. Most of Jaylon’s are 5-15 yards downfield, every time.My favorite is the posts that say he is leading the team in tackles by avoiding contact. Apparently he sucks at that and opponents keep running into him.
Number of tackles are a poor indicator. The worst defense in the league will always have a leading tackler, doesn’t mean much, especially when the tackles are always 5-15 yards downfield lmao.Yeah the team gave up 7 points and caused three fumbles. Jaylon led the team with 11 tackles and a fumble recovery. He sucked real bad this game.

Another one who doesn’t get “it”.Yeah the team gave up 7 points and caused three fumbles. Jaylon led the team with 11 tackles and a fumble recovery. He sucked real bad this game.
Yeah that’s a odd criticism to have of him. You can say he’s lost or whatever but to say he avoids contact contradicts how many tackles he has this year.Imagine being a football fan and thinking "That player has the second most tackles in the NFL because he avoids contact'.
Maybe he does get it?Another one who doesn’t get “it”.
No, he doesn’t. Jaylon is the worst LB’er in the NFL.Maybe he does get it?
He’s not even the worst on the team lol. The league is full of poor linebacker play lol.....I get it we all want Luke Kuechly. But let’s don’t over exaggerate his skill. No, he doesn’t. Jaylon is the worst LB’er in the NFL.
Bad teams always have players with high tackle numbers, simply because they’re getting whooped up & down the field more often than good defenses who spend less time on the field.Imagine being a football fan and thinking "That player has the second most tackles in the NFL because he avoids contact'.
Do you know how many tackles he has behind the LOS?Yeah that’s a odd criticism to have of him. You can say he’s lost or whatever but to say he avoids contact contradicts how many tackles he has this year.
I'd agree…..it can only be believed if one wants to believe......when all else fails.....film don't lie......regardless.This doesn't make your point like you think it does.
He has 5, tied for 2nd on the team with Aldon Smith. Lawrence leads with 9. BTW, that 5 is more than LVE, Joe Thomas and Sean Lee combined.Do you know how many tackles he has behind the LOS?
Once again, the football dunces think pointing to tackle totals somehow speaks to a linebacker’s ability or physical toughness.

Great work.Cowboys players that seem to avoid contact:
Trystan Hill - missed tackle rate 35.4%
Sean Lee - missed tackle rate 30%
Aldon Smith - 21.7%
LVE - 17.4%
Tyron Crawford - 16.7%
DLaw - 15.1%
Joe Thomas - 10.4%
Diggs - 9.4%
X Woods - 8.2%
Gregory - 7.1%
D. Wilson - 7%
Armstrong - 6.9%
Lewis - 6.4%
Gallimore - 5.6%
Jaylon - 5.4%
Yes, Jaylon has made some dumb decisions and takes bad angles at times. But to me, the bigger issue is that you have DT, DE and other LB's missing tackles at at extremely high rate. Maybe part of Jaylon's tackle totals that are "15 yards downfield" is because he is cleaning up other people's messes.
Like when a complete moron pointed to Myles Jack having 24 more tackles than Jaylon in a year he was on IR.
