Man, when Manning makes it into the Hall of Fame and Romo is still out in the cold, there are going to be some hopping mad people around here.
As we know and are reminded every day; the world isnt always fair.

Romo is first in line saying the goal was a championship. Has said that for that years.
He gets it.
Bitter disappointment, but the dude left body parts all over NFL fields trying to get there.
The team and him together couldn't get it done. Bottomline.

Yeah if the world was fair Dallas would have won the Super Bowl 40 Times !!!!

There's very few people in here claiming Romo to be a HoF.
If Manning gets in before he does, that tune will change because people have had that debate about the two for years.

On his own standing, some might go, well maybe you are right.

Put Manning in, WHAT THE!

Well, speaking for this thread, the debate is Manning vs. Romo, and aside from some cringeworthy posts supporting Eli, the vast majority believe Romo was better, however still recognizing that he (Romo) won't be in the Hall.

As for Eli, the vast majority, other than said cringeworthy posters/posts, think it'll be a toss-up as for whether or not he'll get in. This sentiment is also expressed regularly in the football world outside of this fan site. Eli is not a lock at this point, imo. If he gets in, good for him. But to say he was a better QB than Romo is, frankly, laughable.

He achieved more because he had more. Better organization, coaching, teams, etc.

Go back and watch the play. Luck can't even happen if Eli doesn't throw the ball. He had like 5 or 6 guys grabbing on him and he still got it off.
"Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity". You are also ignoring the fact that he played outstanding in the playoffs on the way to the super bowl as well. No, not one playoff run.. 2 playoff runs.

Completely disagree. Eli has accomplished more when it counted. Romo was a better regular season QB but for all the marbles, give me Eli all day.

That is an ignorant comment. I have watched both of their entire careers. What Eli accomplished throughout the playoffs those years AND super bowl(s) on the biggest stage vs Tom Brad is what I'm basing my opinion on. You can keep talking about luck all you want but Eli has achieved more than Romo and for that he will be in the hall of fame.

Ok chief.

Let's do this the easy way. I don't think even Giants fans would try to argue that Eli was better in the regular season than Romo, their argument will be Eli was a better playoff performer. Here are the 2 QBs stats per playoff game, I for one see minimal difference in performance:

cmp % : 60.5 VS 61.6
Yards/g: 234.6 VS 219.3
TD/g: 1.5 VS 1.33
Int/G: 0.5 VS 0.33
Yards/Att: 7.0 VS 7.1
QB Rating: 87.4 VS 93.0

Tony's going to be alright. He has a beautiful wife. He's going to do great for CBS. He's going to be in the Cowboys ROH. When you consider where he came from the guy is amazing. It's too bad he couldn't do more with the Cowboys but Tony will survive.

Give Romo the defense that the Giants had in 2007. Also, put some stickem all over Crayton

2009 Romo had one, unfortunately that old O Line started to show it's wrinkles. Romo has had some really unfortunate luck as a Cowboy. However, Jerry paid him I'm sorry money.
