What is Romo's record against winning teams?

Oh, wouldn't that be so nice if DeMarcus Ware could tell Romo, "Just give us ten points" like Ray Lewis has allegedly told his offense over the years?

We'd be a dynasty by now. And that's why ROFLsberger isn't impressive. We know it's all about his defense. He's a schmuck.

I've seen video when Ray said that, I wanted to suit up and try to give the man 10 points, or at least buy him a sandwich.

I'm not saying Romo could not or should not wrangle in the mistakes. I'm saying this team has not been good enough for him to get away with them for the most part. A lot of QB's, including Aikman got a second chance or at least a leg up from the defense and/or ST's when they made a mistake. Romo seems to be trying to overcome their mistakes many times.

He had to move the ball with 1 minute left because of the ST's. He should have been taking a knee with 1 minute left after the game he had to that point.

Dude, if Romo threw for 13 touchdowns and 12 picks the way Aikman did in 1994, the schmendricks would come out of the woodwork and tell us that we needed to get rid of Romo. We'd be 4-12.

But, hey, even though Romo did have to move the ball with a minute remaining because of special teams, it doesn't negate his responsibility. He should have. If he moved the ball and then someone else turned the ball over or Bailey folked up, then that wouldn't be Romo's fault.

What am I saying? Everything is Romo's fault. I've got a bit of indigestion from this Caesar salad here. That's Romo's fault.

IMO, Romo would make less mistakes with that kind of defense because he wouldn't need to take as many risks, especially at the end of games.

However, I thought our defense was fine against the Jets. Ten points came off turnovers, with seven directly attributed to the blocked punt. To me, that's the biggest mistake Dallas had Sunday because it was simply a missed assignment.

I agree with you. Romo pretty much has to have 300 passing yards and 2-3 TD's with no turnovers a game for us to win. Our defense was very good against the jets, considering our corner situation. But ST's once again put Romo in a difficult spot at the end of the game.

Even if Romo threw it away and we went to OT. If they got the ball first and scored, people would be crying that Romo did not lead us to victory before OT.

Romo is either perfect or he sucks for too many people.

Bite your tongue. I know what you are saying, but don't let fools control the thinking.

Oh I know, it's probably the only extreme that would open the eyes of the blind.

Not sure if it's been mentioned in this thread, but Babe Laufenburg (sp?) told Norm on The Ticket that, since 2007 to the present, Romo is the highest rated 4th quarter QB in the league. That's right! He's the ONLY starting QB in the league with a 100+ 4th quarter rating during that span of time. Brady is #2, Manning is #3. The other top 12 QBs were all the top QBs in the league (ie Rivers, Rothlisberger, Brees...). We won't know how good we had it... when it's gone.

I already know and will continue to know. Romo has not been the problem.

I think you mean "till" he's gone.

I agree....and can't believe that people can't see what we have in Romo....and that is a QB that has the entire team on his back in a team sport. Never before has the Dallas Cowboys franchise passed so much and depended as much on the QB to win a game. Not with Staubach and not with Aikman.
