Bit of a difference in that Guinn got two pro bowl DTs that he inherited. The weakness to his Defenses has always been up the middle. He has always managed to have good edge rushers and turnovers in the secondary. Bottom line is right now I would rather have his defense then ours.

What’s happening? They ran their owner out of town and put new people in charge. Wish we could say the same. Someone look for some emails from Jerry!

Oh I’m sure there’s plenty of dirt on Jerry. Snyder didn’t just make up what he said about Jerry when he was kicking and screaming as his own mess was being revealed.

Jerry is just smart enough to have covered himself by buying off and/or intimidating the right people.

And don’t forget, for all his flaws for our purposes, Jerry is an extremely talented businessman and made a ton of money for the other owners in the league as they sat around with their hands out. He is covered.

How else did Stephen get a seat on the competition committee ages ago? That’s beyond some sort of joke but money talks.

Quinn did take a team to the Super Bowl, so he's capable of that if the team is built to succeed. Much like with McCarthy, he needs to be in the right situation. In addition to getting its probable franchise QB, the Commodes also added multiple free agents this year. I don't think it will be enough for a Super Bowl run, but I see no reason to pretend he can't make one when he's done it before.

Our problem here wasn't Quinn, just like it isn't McCarthy, it was not having the personnel to get the job done. Even Zimmer has shined as a DC when he has had the personnel.

We need to seriously hope Daniels is a 1 year wonder.

Hurts went nuts in 2022....then coaches took notice that offseason, learned his trends, and found out how to screw with him.

Most QBs have Kryptonite.... with rare exceptions of Mahomes, Brady, etc (aside from a relentless pass rush and simply not having a pocket to throw in).

We gotta hope The Book comes out on Daniels, as you see how a dynamic QB can instantly give your team major mojo. The one thing about Daniels....as dynamic as he is, he is very slightly built. He's not Lamar Jackson or Hurts...those dudes are solid. Daniels doesn't look like he is made to take too many hits, so he better take care of himself.
