What Makes Dak Irreplaceable?

In simple terms to use Flacco, Dak is: more accurate (by a lot), less turnover prone (by a lot as Flacco has thrown multiple INTs now in all 3 games), , far more mobile, better at reading a defense (see the aforementioned INTs), and, this is the kicker, at this point Dak probably has the better arm. It certainly is a more accurate deep ball as Flacco always was known for having an inaccurate cannon for an arm that would chuck it 45 yards when the receiver ran 50 yards and draw an INT (or sometimes a PI).

Basically you are doing the equivalent of acting like Micah Parsons is exactly the same as a random off the couch. Might as well say you know nothing about QBs when you say that.
Flacco only has multiple INTS in 2 games this year. He had 3 vs the Bears and 2 today. Flacco does have multiple TD passes in every game though. He has 10 in just 4 games.

Dak doesn't have a better arm than anyone. Even an older Flacco. That game winning throw last week from Flacco was a pass Dak couldn't make.

I'll give you mobile and accurate, but no way I can give you reading a defense. There is no QB criticized more for his lack of ability in reading a defense and seeing the filed that Dak is.

Sure he can be replaced. Start with a new QB though and basically go on a 4 year rebuild process. Nobody wants that. Only 10-12 teams in the league have a good QB, Dak is top 5 this year, get your head out of your butt, and stop trolling.
Top 5 QBs find ways to win, especially on the road. Let’s agree to disagree.

He needs to go. He’s got no incentive to improve because he’s never held accountable when he comes up short.

Makes me miss the old Landry era type coaches more and more. They were also held accountable. Funny how that changed things back then.

So is Mahomes not a top 5 qb losing to Philly and the Bills and not finding a way to win?

The only people who criticize Dak's ability to read a defense are people on here or some random farming for clicks. No actual GM or coach or even established talking head tries to make that claim. Its people who do not actually understand how reading a defense works who go, "this guy on the right was very open 35 yards downfield and Dak did the 5 yard checkdown" not realizing that not every player is a read or if they are they are an early read and they did not get open in time. Meanwhile, I have seen every Joe Flacco pass in his entire NFL career: his arm is VASTLY overrated. Even in his prime he had this great arm but could not the broad side of a barn with it. The best play in his prime was the Torrey Smith PI where Torrey Smith would run deep Flacco would throw it 10 yards short of him, Smith would stop to go back for it and he would get tackled by the defender. That was Flacco's best offensive play with a deep ball. That deep pass to Tolbert, which was not a great throw, was better than most Flacco throws in his prime.

The one thing I will say Flacco has an edge in, and I am not sure how to quantify this, is that he might be the only non HoF player I have ever seen just look unstoppable in big moments. He will be awful for 3 quarters and good in the 4th. He will be awful in the regular season and look like the MVP of the playoffs. The reason he ended up leaving Baltimore early though is because they could not win consistently in the regular because it turns out quarters 1-3 do matter quite a bit and that being mediocre to bad 75% of the time does not outweigh the other 25%.

Prescott like most QBs needs a lot around him to succeed. Our running backs are trash absolute bottom barrel and that includes Pollard. Our 3rd and 4th WRs are also really poor. I think we have a solid not great OL. We need a better running game and better #3 WR. Gallup looks like he’s just jogging around. Dak has proven he can improve and I do give him some credit there.

What were your thoughts when Dak made it 20-19? Were you thinking it didn't matter like me?? Merry Christmas BTW.

I always see "But if not Dak then who?" type of replies to basically anyone not happy with Dak as the QB for the Cowboys.

What makes him irreplaceable in the eyes of those with that mindset? Are there people that really think Dak's skill and ability is SO high that he can't be replaced?

What skill or talents sets him apart from say..... Joe Flacco off the couch?
people here would have made fun of you month or so ago on flacco, no one saw that coming even on other teams.
but if you dont look at guys like flacco you are not going to find them.

As far as dak goes, he isnt the main problem, it is jones boys, then mike then the other coaches , then dak.
just getting rid of dak doesnt help.

Lose Dak and there is a chance you become the Commanders or Giants. I fully understand the frustration with the team, but there are more issues than just our QB.
Dak is one of the top 3 best players on our roster and the other two will be all-pro. You are feeding the troll by saying we have other issues besides Dak. Dak is not an issue at all.

Jerald's ego makes Dak irreplaceable.

Draft a QB and let Dak walk like we did with his little buddy Ellliot. Dak is not winning anything noteworthy here so might as well give him the opportunity to win elsewhere. This team is a walking disaster series.

A new thread needs to be made on if Dak Prescott is tradable.

I think the answer is yes.

With today’s QB prices and a shortage of decent QBs, I say Dak can be traded even with the high price tag.

I don't believe you'd know enough about football if you tripped over one going to your dance recital.

Dak is a nobody. He feast on crap teams and literally always fails against better teams. I’d rather save the money for other players and play cooper rush. Literally no difference 9n the win loss column , we wil, stil, feat the easy teams and lose to the better teams.
AMEN!!!!!:hammer:
