What makes you smile as Cowboys fan?

I'm usually excited about the season as long as we're within a game or two of the NFCE lead. I don't mind seasons when we're not one of the elite teams in the NFL if we have a reasonable plan and are building towards something.

I'm miserable when we don't have a QB, because you can't be competitive without one. Probably the worst season in recent memory for me was the season we went into it with Vinny Testaverde as the starter. Absolutely nothing to look forward to. Give me a young Quincy Carter with some upside over that, any day.

Everything! I love this team and bleed blue! Even losses don't knock the smile off my face as long as the team have their all.

I live in the middle of Eagels/Giants/Steelers territory in NE Penna and one thing that I LOVE is the banter I have with fans of all of these teams....we had "jersey day" the other day at work (fund raiser for charity) and I brought in a few extra Cowboy jerseys to give to the girls that didn't have one...it was great seeing the triplets represented for the day....I went around ALL day busting the chops of anyone that was wearing an Eagles jersey...good times
