I just smile, because I always do.
As for the Cowboys, I smile when they win, I smile when they play hard and keep me on the edge of my seat for the entire game.
I also smile when others talk crap about them, ask me how I can still root for them.
Nobody is going to take the smile away from me.

When they win and look like a smart tough team doing it. These type of games are few and far between these days, but when they happen it shows me what they are capable of if they every got out of their own way with the awful game planning. Last years Rams game 31-7. We threw only 24 passes and ran 31 times and actually played some D. When we use smart play calling they are very tough to beat, but I said at the time, here is the formula for success so what do they do the following week? Naturally they lose to San Diego and throw 37 times and run it 15 friggen times...

I once received a complete package in the mail with articles, pictures cut out of magazines and newspapers with humorous captions and remarks below each picture, jokes, .. and a complete narrative written about the person's hate of all things "Cowboys".

It got personal and ugly.

And of course, .. it was anonymous.

I have an idea who, .. but haven't ever tried to find out.

The fact of the matter that I've never jumped shipped to another team despite going through the rough/dark era we currently in. I grew up off the Triplets and I pledged my fandom to the Star ever since I was a little one. I've seen Cowboy fans come and go throughout my years growing up, my take is if you can't pull for us when we're 3-13 & no way in hell do we have room for you on the bandwagon when we go 13-3.

As for the cowboys, what make me smile is when the Cowboys do a beatdown of the Washington (derogatory name), the 49ers and the whiney Broncos.

Ok, you say "But Gimme, the Cowboys do not have a recent record of beatdowns of these teams."
Well, I half been around long enough to remember beatdowns of them.

OK, what make me smile is reports of $25 pizzas and $10 beers at Texas Stadium. And parking and game programs that you needs a bank loan. All that and I (usually) half the best seat in the house: in mein living room with Ms. Busty gushing about how good the Cowboys look in their unis though they play bad.
