What more does Dak need to get us to a Superbowl?

Looking back over the years he's had a decent O-line at times, had skilled players such as Zeke, Dez, Cooper, Witten, Cooks, Ferguson, Pollard, Gallup etc. With that said, and most of those guys gone/retired, what weapons do we need to put around Dak to help him get to the Superbowl. I realize that the defense has to be on point as well, but I'm focusing this post more from an offensive standpoint. Please give your thoughts.

The Dallas Cowboys need a real offensive coordinator with modern day play calling and design. The Dallas Cowboys also need an offensive line that can open holes for the running game. The Dallas Cowboys need a defensive line who can stop the run.

The Dallas Cowboys need a head coach that can emphasize the importance of not committing penalties. We have led the NFL in penalties for 3 years.

I don't care who the quarterback is. Other than Mahomes, no other quarterback will be able to succeed to the highest levels with all of those needs that I've stated.

If that's not the case, name me one quarterback in history who has went deep in the playoffs without a running game, the defense couldn't stop the running game and their team leads the league in multiple seasons.

Please tell me what quarterback other than MAYBE Mahomes can succeed through all of that.... if other quarterbacks can't do that, then why do we expect OURS to??

When you say "modern" day play calling and design, could you PLEASE elaborate, and PLEASE not forget that we're still using some of the previous coordinators playbook. We changed it 30%

Coaching. McCarthy is better than Garrett but still not getting it done. Whatever that was last year vs Green Bay looked like bad coaching at the core. There were times where you could have told me there were only 9 men on the field on defense and I would have said that makes sense. Love was throwing to guys who were open by 20 yards at times. The offensive game plan wasn't much better when you have Lamb upset within 2 minutes.
yes, Romo, and dak have had goofballs for HC's.
That is hard to overcome esp in playoffs.
As for players, A top RB and a OC who knows how and when to use him !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kyle Shanahan, Andy Reid, Sean McVay, those types of modern day offenses. Creative, movements and formation shifts. Keeps defenses off balance.

Nah not today. Won an quick 10k last week knocking out some dude in a organized BK fight. It's not as easy as I used to do it, but I still can throw them pretty good.

Dak needs the offense to have a running game that equals our great passing game. Another thing that would help is a defense that plays complementary football to our offense. Dak needs to stop choking in the biggest of games. In a nutshell, Dak needs to be clutch when it counts the most.

All the players you mentioned were on the offense. We’ve had some terrific offenses with him. We’ve led the league in offense with Dak. The biggest problem has been the defense. It’s only been on point during the regular season but not in the playoffs. We’ve lost two playoff games under Dak where we scored 30 or more points.

Hard for me to imagine Dak ever beating 4 playoff teams in a row regardless of what team he played for or what coach.

The one outlier would be probably be if he played with a defense like that Von Miller and D. Ware defense that carried P. Manning that one year in the playoffs. Manning was throwing one hoppers on out routes in the playoffs he was so washed. I never seen a poorer Super Bowl played by a winning QB. Check the stats. It's ugly.

That would be the ONLY outlier type scenario in which Dak could win.
Dak couldn’t do it against GB last year. No way he stands tall against playoff caliber teams. He’s soft.

How does a quarterback drafted in the 4th round, be a perennial top 10 qb most of his career, because an All-Pro and a MVP candidate without a functioning running game do all these things being soft?

I mean.... we all know Dak isn't elite, but how can a soft quarterback accomplish all of those things AND stay pretty healthy throughout his career except the games missed due to a broken leg and a few others?

The second question is what other soft quarterbacks in history were able to do the same things at the NFL level that Dak has?

A brain that does not freeze up in the playoffs when facing a winning team
He’s just not a big game player.

He keeps proving it but nobody wants to pay attention.

Pay the man!

For what? To beat bad teams in the regular season? If that’s the goal just play Cooper Rush.

And his offensive coordinators, offensive line and defensive line.
I’d throw in better play calling too. Playing Detroit and playing with a lead don’t call a pass play. Dude, preserve the lead and take time off the clock. That type of play calling drives me insane.

A big time, difference making RB talent/scheme .. one that heavily and effectively involves the RB... in both the run/pass game

- Just as Ravens added stud RB Derrick Henry... to pair with MVP QB Lamar Jackson- take a great portion off LJ shoulders to win it all by himself

- just as you see Niners adding Mac to Niners Shanahan offense

- just as you see what RBs Montgomery/Gibbs do to greatly help QB Jared Goff in Detroit ...

- We Cowboys also should have trying to add/scheme a dangerous RB talent/scheme to our own Dak led Offense

- Opposing playoff teams throw exotic zone coverages at Dak, ..and he has not responded/cannot respond BY HIMSELF to
beat these teams so the idea is to add a very formidable RB talent/scheme to deal with these zones underneath

-Get these defenses force to commit/contend with these RBs,... just as they have to do with Niners, Detroit , and will have to do with Ravens/Henry

And its not just adding a name ...but our coaches have to also scheme them to best fit their skill level talent
Lions RBs are not bell cows, and between tackle pounders- grinders, ..they are splash backs - so use them accordingly.

BTW, Is any opposing playoff team gonna be fearful of Zeke- Rico- and Freeman ? Geeez
