Yeah. I don't know if the 3 ball will be falling in Dallas as much but we got depth and we got defense.

With Brand and Kaman around 3 ball may fall more to Dirk.

Going to in interesting watching a new offense take shape.

We wont be terrible shooting the 3; we just don't have a strict spot up shooter. We have guys that can hit the 3 though. Mayo, Roddy, (West), Dirk. Not too sure about Dahntay and Collison, but I believe they can take them as well.

We are going to have a better inside game than we have seen from the Mavs before. That will open up the 3's when need be.

As Dirk ages he becomes the pure (and possibly best in league) spot up shooter imho.

I'm not sure he becomes a pure spot up shooter. I believe he will be fading away from mid range till he retires.

there's still a lot of magic left in Dirk.
he should be markedly better in 2012 then in 2011.

as bart scott says, "CAN'T WAIT!!"

It really was. After all us Mavs fans have been thru especially in 2006. 2011 was just epic. And how poetic to take down the Evil Empire. That championship meant as much to me as my first Cowboys Superbowl I witnessed. Maybe even more considering the history.

yup. i grew up with the mavs and the 3 J's drama.
being the worst nba team of the 90's.
listening to dirk is soft crap for a decade.

watching always hurt wade and lebron make fun of a sick dirk... then seeing dirk and the mavs turn the tables to win going away. priceless.

the cowboys were always the best team in the super bowl wins.

closest cowboy moment for me was probably the road san fran NFCC game win.

I could not have been happier for any team in any sport at any level than I was for the Mavs in 2011.

So many great things. Dirk, J Kidd, JET, Matrix. Sweep LA, epic flu game, heat big 3. Just absolutely everything in that run. Epic in ways epic can't describe.

It was so Great for DFW as well. We needed a championship so bad. With as bad as the Cowboys have been and Rangers losing 2 world series(well 1 at time). DFW rightfully loves Dirk. It took a lanky, quirky German guy to get DFW a championship in sooo many years. Love Dirk.

Same thing here. I thought we would turn it around in 94. I think we won 30 something plus games. I didn't start following basketball until about 1993 ( I was 10 at the time) and the Mavs came on HSE (I know I just took you all back in time with this one). Since I already liked the DALLAS Cowboys, it made sense for me to root for the DALLAS Mavericks.

I love the Mavs. I will NEVER cheer for the Heat or James after they made fun of Dirk being sick. And oh yea that ridiculous PC he had when he signed with the Heat. Ugh.
