I would double down on Cowboys strength and go defense with Prime , he could even play wide receiver and be the star returner on special teams.

Emmitt Smith hands down.

He will make line look all pro. Allow Dak to go pass action. Shorten the game and keep D fresh.
We seen what Dak can be if he has an effective running game.

If you could bring any player from the past in their prime to play for Dallas now. Must be a Cowboys player. What player would that be? What player would help the team the most?

Michael Irvin

He would bring some dog into this offense.

Staubach 1971
He was miles ahead of the other "elite" QBs that year.

Darren Woodson on defense and pre accident Eric Williams on offense.

Bob Lily or Randy White. Imagine having a run stuffing machine like Lily that demanded double team blocks every play. Or the Manster who was an absolute beast against the run and was one of the better pass rushers for a DT. White’s game would be comparable to Aaron Donald today.

Imagine this D was either of those HOFers.

Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, or Tony rom9 in that order.

Don't even tell me randy white, deion, qb.... and itv isn't even close.

Our current lineup with any of those qbs is the best team in the nfl.

Are you saying we have Irvin, Pearson, Hill, Owens, Dez, Witten and Novacek level of talents on this team? Because if we do then which team have I been watching? Yahoo!

Skinny post, dig route, down and out just past the sticks were the "Playmakers" forte. Could our current QB hit on those enough with accuracy to keep Irvin happy?

. What was the question? The question was who in their prime from the past would help this team the most. Irvin would still have dak throwing to him. Id rather have Staubach throwing to our current receivers over dak throwing to irvin.
