You might be right about Diggs on the Tag. Lamb was a first rounder though and has that 5th year option.
Big year for Diggs as team's will start to test him more now that Brown is off the roster. His play will determine his value.

Buddy, you are the one running around calling yourself an analytics genius yet your are incapable of analyzing what players might be casualties going into next season. LOL

And then you are going around telling everyone how ridiculous they are for answering the question. No one is being rude around here but you. Im just getting a big kick out of it.
Here you go lying again.

Let me throw something bye. Positive analysis , Aaron Rodgers, the media, the fans constantly praise him, he has confidence through the roof. Do you think if Dak Prescott received the same positive reinforcement. That he would actually be a better quarterback. Numerous studies. Would say yes . Do you think if Aaron Rodgers didn’t receive all that positive vibrations, that he would be as good as people say he is. Or would he just be a little bit less?
Just too perfect not to have a good belly laugh. The pseudo success is exactly what Prescott benefitted from early in his career. He thought he was a chosen one .... right up until teams had seen enough to expose his weaknesses. His confidence has been shattered ever since.

The QB's with high level talent create their own positive reinforcement. Simple as that.

So you are saying they have no out after THIS season where they can get out with a minimal cap hit?
After this season? Not really. Next season he'll be a 13.8 million cap hit. If he's released, he'll be a 13M cap hit. So they'd save 800k, and I don't know how much they'd save as a June 1st cut. But either way, that money would just get spread out over two years. He's not a good candidate for it anyway.

Like I said, he'd have to really crap the bed to be released after this season.

As others have mentioned, Gallup is the player on that list most likely to stick around in 2024. I'm (optimistically) expecting a bounce back year from him, and see little advantage in releasing him. If he has another season like last year, he's history.

I wasn’t trying to be sarcastic, I don’t think it’s quite the time to tell how much I want to pay a player. Until I see what kind of abuse or ability they still have until the end of the season. But it doesn’t matter what us fans think. Jerry believes in loyalty. That’s how he decides who to pay and who not to pay. I don’t think he does it on the talent level at all. That’s why I don’t support him as GM.

You're not wrong, BUT it's a long off season and all we have is time to speculate. Thankfully camp is around the corner.

I still maintain Gallup is a baller. He will bounce back.

I think he'll be sticking around. He was just another player brought back too early. And he made some very good plays last year too, just not himself overall. I think he'll be back to normal.

These are players I no longer see being on the books after this season:

- Polllard 10 million
-Tyron Smith 13 million
-Gillmore CB 13 Million
-Gallup 12 Million

-Lawrence is probably the biggest shoe to drop at some point. Isnt he getting like 17 million per year now with the discount he signed?

- I bet they find a way to keep Cooks around and I they will need to look into resigning Steele and Biadasz.

Am I missing anyone?

Diggs big salary is probably the first one to reup. I expect them to get Parsons and Lamb resigned at some point, but they probably slow roll those. Dak as well.
I think Tyron Smith is UFA after the season.

If he gets hurt again, he isnt worth a dime.

But I looked and you are right. after the restructure its not until possibly after next season they can get out.

Um yes, I read the thread...
I mean the idea that they would cut a QB who NFL GMs, Coaches, and Scouts think is top 10 (and making less than market value for next year) is ludicrous so it was not worth entertaining.

That's why the thread wasn't about that.

Of guys currently signed for next year:

DLaw - $3m savings, $10m savings June 1
Tyron Smith - $0 savings, $1m savings June 1
Michael Gallup - $800k savings, $9.5m June 1

They'll have a bunch of space once they extend/restructure Dak and have an $8.5m restructure built in with Zack Martin, so they don't really have to make any of these moves.
Exactly
They don’t have to make any move and most don’t save much anyway. It’s really about how they play and can someone push them aside
A WR shines then Gallup might become expendable, though I expect him to bounce back

They definitely pay attention to social media. Positive assessment is real. But you’re 100% correct. At this level it should be all on them.

Who comes on a fan forum bragging they are a genius. LOL

You have to expect to get laughed at.

I have never asked anyone to back me up. Feel free to list the things I have been wrong about.

Maybe if you were one you’d brag to.
