That guy is going to be worth the wait. Till then give Dak a legitimate opportunity by putting play makers around him and get him some decent coaches. The worst case scenario, you would have a solid backup in place for Tua.

This is the best plan. Replace the coaching staff, solidify the line and get some more weapons. Young weapons that can grow with the QB, whomever he is. If we bomb and there is a great young QB available where we pick then I would take him. In the meantime lets see what Dak can do with better players around him (even though we have already seen that he plays great). When the rookie is ready to beat out Dak and take over if that ever happens then so be it.

But I would IN NO WAY sell out two years of draft picks to trade way up or anything desperate like that. And I wouldnt pick a QB in the first round just to do it
