What to do if Cooper Rush takes the Cowboys on a win streak?

Probably not, but let's see what happens. Not like it really matters much. We're stuck with Dak till '26 at the earliest.

No brainer, play Dak when he's healthy. Too much money to be on the bench for no reason. Just enjoy the WRs getting a chance to catch some passes.

Listen, I like Rush as a backup and thinks what he lacks in talent he makes up for in the mental department. I am under no grand illusions that this team is gonna start winning games with him at QB. I’m going to be more interested in seeing how the offense stack up against each other after Rush’s time is done, and to see what they and he has done differently and did it work.

I’m very interested in the drop back as when his foot hits the balls out that we saw yesterday when he came in. That was the striking difference at least yesterday for me between the 2. But this hopium that somehow Rush is all that is just misplaced because of how people feel about Dak IMO.

I may be in the minority on this but to me the best thing that could happen is lose out the rest of the season. You could possibly get top pick but pretty great chance a top 5 pick. This team is playing bad but that’s for many reasons but one huge factor is a lack of talent. The fastest way to get goid is get real bad first. Plus it might just drive Jerry to step aside

I think this defense is really bad, so no matter what cooper does, this defense is unable to stop anybody. so in order for us to have a win streak it would mean, this defense becomes all world or we are in a shoot out. I don't see cooper rush in a shoot out, as the last time he had a win streak, the defnse was all world, giving up on average 13 points a game and even scoring a couple of times.

Cooper rush led offense back when Dak was injured, was ranked 22nd or worst in every statistical category. given the offensive problems I don't see this offense improving enough to score tons of points. we still have OL issues. we still have RB issues. we still have WR 2, 3, 4 issues. and now CD is injured.

its a nice thought, but really far from reality of what's about to happen.

We have not seen him with the starters, although our starters are like back ups. Throw him out there and he plays well, then you know what you initially traded for a starter

But then how much do you pay him?

If Rush starts winning then I bench him for Lance. At this point I want the higher draft pick. We aren't making the playoffs this year. We need the highest draft pick possible to obtain as much draft capital as possible since our GM doesn't believe in dipping his toes in free agency. Too bad we don't have many older veterans with trade value. Zack Martin would be on the trading block. Demarcus Lawrence would be on the trading block if he were healthy. Donovan Wilson and Malik Hooker have been awful but maybe Dan Quinn has a soft spot for one of them and would float us draft pick.

I would start Lance. The fastest way to get good in the nfl is get really bad first. I’d trade one of Blsnd/Diggs before the draft. I’d shop everyone. For the right price I’d trade anyone. That said before I traded Micah it would have to be one heck of an offer

I'm going to enjoy winning again and not worry about it since I'm not Jerry Jones.

I know Dak haters would love that! Not because we're winning again, but because they hate Dak. They are not Cowboys fans they are Dak haters. I say that because Dak haters don't call us Cowboys fans because we pull for Dak to do good. Whoever is under center is my guy and I will back him 100 percent until he's not.
