Jerry extends him and makes him the highest paid player in NFL history Part 2!

You could see in just the few plays that Rush came in that he was in more of a "I don't care about all the problems, I'm just going to sling it and try and win" mentality, whereas the last few games Dak has looked like he has nothing short of PTSD. There's alot of things that I think are valid reasons, and not excuses, that Dak has played poorly this season, but I expected him to be more mentally resilient than what he's shown the past two weeks. His insanely depleted defense gave him a shot, albeit a small one with no margin for error, to potentially win against both SF and Atlanta, and he botched both opportunities. I put those losses on him more than others this season. So yes, if the offensive line starts gelling, McCarthy actually continues to give Rico 80% of the carries, and the defense finally starts getting some starters healthy, Rush could definitely lead this team to some wins. But no way does a healthy Dak not come back in if that happens and playoffs are a possibility. But as others have said, this team is a far, FAR cry away from the one that Rush went 5-1 with.

I bet Dakota gets well sooner? Seriously though do you keep Cooper starting or bring Dak back in after he has healed on a win streak?
Then you have to ride the hot hand. Looks like Dak will be out a minimum of 4 games so if Rush is 4-0 I think you have to consider it.

Actually, what would probably happen is Jerry would send his clean up guy to Dak's house to slice both ACL's and MCL's to the point Dak would be forced to retire and forego the contract. You know Jerrah's got at least one Mike Ehrmantraut on retainer.

All I’m saying is I don’t think this team wants to see Lance this year. Just my prediction. Maybe I’m wrong. I think it’s based on salary.
I think Jerry wanted to tank the season but can’t tell anybody obviously there’s no other explanation for what he did. I really think he wants Dion‘s son. I have no idea why he paid Prescott though that throws off my entire theory. He’s such a screwup Jerry Jerry Jones.

Yeah if he wanted to tank Dak would’ve walked….traded Law and Martin. He’s not tanking. It looks more like sabotage but just like your tanking theory I don’t know why.

Rush performs well in Dak's absence, do we stay with the hot hand? Or is the job given right back to Dak????? Please give your thoughts. Would it cause problems in the locker room?

I hope he doesn't take them on a winning streak....I want a high draft pick...we need high draft picks if we going to get any better....doesn't mean Jerry will do the right thing...but i can hope for a high draft pick.....one finally thing....I feel dirty for saying I don't want the Cowboys to get on a winning streak....YIKES!!!!

Jerry once again is going to be out of leverage. If Rush plays decent with no OLine, no run game, and a weak WR core, he will have the leverage for a new contract as a FA.

That would be admitting to a horrible mistake by Jerruh, to sign Dak to a 90 Trillion dollar deal, and 2 months later make him a healthy scratch in favor of stupid Cooper Rush.

And frankly, as senile as Jerruh is...I don't think he's SO senile not to realize that even if Rush were to have some small measure of success, that it would just be very temporary, until the rest of the league starting taking him seriously and then shut him down completely.

I mean....think about what you're actually saying. Cooper RUSH? HA HA HA. This is what you call desperation. This is the kind of desperation that leads a starving man to look at a dead, rotting, maggot infested rat carcass, and go "yum"
