You could see in just the few plays that Rush came in that he was in more of a "I don't care about all the problems, I'm just going to sling it and try and win" mentality, whereas the last few games Dak has looked like he has nothing short of PTSD. There's alot of things that I think are valid reasons, and not excuses, that Dak has played poorly this season, but I expected him to be more mentally resilient than what he's shown the past two weeks. His insanely depleted defense gave him a shot, albeit a small one with no margin for error, to potentially win against both SF and Atlanta, and he botched both opportunities. I put those losses on him more than others this season. So yes, if the offensive line starts gelling, McCarthy actually continues to give Rico 80% of the carries, and the defense finally starts getting some starters healthy, Rush could definitely lead this team to some wins. But no way does a healthy Dak not come back in if that happens and playoffs are a possibility. But as others have said, this team is a far, FAR cry away from the one that Rush went 5-1 with.
