What to do if Cooper Rush takes the Cowboys on a win streak?

Listen, I like Rush as a backup and thinks what he lacks in talent he makes up for in the mental department. I am under no grand illusions that this team is gonna start winning games with him at QB. I’m going to be more interested in seeing how the offense stack up against each other after Rush’s time is done, and to see what they and he has done differently and did it work.

I’m very interested in the drop back as when his foot hits the balls out that we saw yesterday when he came in. That was the striking difference at least yesterday for me between the 2. But this hopium that somehow Rush is all that is just misplaced because of how people feel about Dak IMO.
They may play better under Rush. It’s entirely possible. As long as we continue to lose I’m fine. If we win and get into the playoffs I’m fine with that too. It we win just enough to where we don’t make the playoffs and have a crappy pick? That’s a issue.

I bet Dakota gets well sooner? Seriously though do you keep Cooper starting or bring Dak back in after he has healed on a win streak?
Coop is not taking this team on nothing even close to a win, Dak nor any other flake fake that they want to say is the answer.

Why?

Because there is no answer rostered nor obtainable outside of a cataclysmic horrible, way too late trade to try and better the current situation.

It's well past time to start bailing some water out of the bow at this point and why some serious decisions need to start being considered before this trade deadline, and
probably exactly why nothing will even be done for future considerations even.

No major trades that could possibly inspire the fan base with some hopeful future magic for McClay and his dept.

Oh boy, the Rush fans are back.
I feel sorry for Rush actually, you cant draw up a worse situation for QB2 to go into to, no run game bad defense and a siv OL...dude needs to pull a hammy in practice...look at Trey and hand him the ball..

Just think how many Rings we would have if Cowboy Zone was collectively allowed to make all of Jerry's decisions.

Idk I can see a few more things clicking with the offense and then the running game catches a little rhythm

I can see coop taking a ton of sacks tho and maybe throwing some picks on slants and stuff

Cooper might inject life into this team. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go on another mini run here too and get us to 5-5. Cooper Rush is just that dude!
Please. This team still sucks. The eagles are better at probably every position.

Cooper could inject a spark and play better than Dak, but this team has been getting blown out nearly every game. The final scores make them look much better than they are.

:lmao:

Do yall even watch games? Rush looked worse and worse with every single start when he started. And the stats back that up. This team is much worse than the team than the disaster that is on the field now. Not to mention. The defense rush was playing with had a DC that knew what year it was.

I bet that we will see Lance before Rush wins a game. The Eagles and Houston will have time get ready for Rush. We have no chance.

Rush could simply make different mental choices play to play that could change everything.

I believe the QB and offense can inspire the defense. Score a few early and see.
So if the defense has another one of those games where they give up a bunch of consecutive TD drives or gives up nearly 30 to 40 points, will this mean Cooper Rush should somehow be to blame for the defense playing badly? Since you believe QBs can influence and control how the defense plays.

Jerry wouldn't play Rush over Dak no matter how well he played. He gave one guy 231 million guaranteed.
People need to understand this. It's not really about the players. It's how it would reflect on him and Jerry will always choose himself over anything.

You treat Dak the same way they treated his predecessor.

You sit his *** down and go with "the hot hand".
