What to do if Cooper Rush takes the Cowboys on a win streak?

I think this defense is really bad, so no matter what cooper does, this defense is unable to stop anybody. so in order for us to have a win streak it would mean, this defense becomes all world or we are in a shoot out. I don't see cooper rush in a shoot out, as the last time he had a win streak, the defnse was all world, giving up on average 13 points a game and even scoring a couple of times.

Cooper rush led offense back when Dak was injured, was ranked 22nd or worst in every statistical category. given the offensive problems I don't see this offense improving enough to score tons of points. we still have OL issues. we still have RB issues. we still have WR 2, 3, 4 issues. and now CD is injured.

its a nice thought, but really far from reality of what's about to happen.
100% truth.

You know Jerry is having major buyers remorse right now.

He will never admit it, but there's no way he doesn't.

Dak hasn't played a single good game since signing that contract and now he's "hurt" and will surely milk this injury as long as he can.
He would auction off Stephen first before admitting to this enormous error. Heck he will use Dak’s injuries as a cover.

This team wouldn't play harder for Cooper.....they can't play harder for themselves. There is talent deprivation.....T-A-L-E-N-T. Thanks Jerry.
There is talent deprivation, but SOME talented players are hotdogging it and have been. It's glaringly obvious several have given up putting in maximum effort. Granted, most of it is lack of talent, but the lack of discipline? The avoiding of tackles and other things? That's not lack of talent, that's lack of effort.

We've seen it before; Cooper Rush gets the team on a win streak while Dak heals. Dak gets healthy and returns as QB1. Expect nothing to change.

I bet Dakota gets well sooner? Seriously though do you keep Cooper starting or bring Dak back in after he has healed on a win streak?
Jerry will put dak back in as soon as he is healed up, no matter what.
Rush could win 6 in a row, it wont matter, jerry would put dak back in.

Now if they put lance in and he won 6 in a row, jerry might ride him awhile, but jerry is stuck with dak now,
so he wants his 60 mil a year guy in there playing no matter what!

I wouldn't spend too much time pondering this.

When the Cowboys went on that four-game winning streak with Rush in 2022, the defense held their opponents to an average of 13 points a game.

The Cowboys were +5 in takeaways/turnovers in just that four game span.

Parsons had 4 sacks, 4 TFL and 10 QB hits in that four gamed span.

Rush's only loss in that period came against the Eagles when he completed less than 50% of his passes while throwing 3 INT's.

Agree.....That would be Diggs.......front & center.....and routinely and glaringly. He should be way better than what we see.
On offense, I did see Tolbert with a poor block effort. The rest, for the most part, just aren't good enough. Martin is obviously hurt and playing on fumes, playing below his standard by far. Steele is dangerous to a QB.
Big Mike should have been tossing tablets in preseason, about effort. He's tossing tablets now due to poor execution from poor effort.

Who cares about the money. It’s manipulable.
Who cares about the money it’s manipulable……ok man lol. You don’t get it. But you will by seasons end when you see the lack of reps he gets. Maybe then you will understand what this team is doing.

I thought they had a great idea yesterday. Use the pass to set up the run. Not with long shots down field but underneath. On 1st down instead of getting 1 or 2 yards they were getting 5 yards. Seems like they should stick with that.
I think that’s the smart move since your oline can’t block. If you keep having succes then the safeties will come up and you get a legit shot at going downfield

If we use mango and flournoy, the run game improves. They both have the size to block and both have more deep speed than lamb. Its possible, but rush needs a catch in traffic guy to step up.

Yeah...it would seem . But maybe a slight change makes some sort of butterfly effect?
I don’t see it but anything is possible. We aren’t losing just because of Dak. We can’t protect the QB, run the ball, put together a dive without a dumb penalty, pressure the QB, tackle in the secondary, create a modern offense.
The problems with this team this year are many and the only thing they have in common is they were all created by Jerry
