As always, I try thinking like Jerry Jones ~shudders~ and considering what he wants to do instead of what I think should happen. In the end, I believe Jones will try repeating his Jason Garrett strategy and force him on his next head coaching hire.
Sooooooo, with Jones' choices, we would have;
Deion Sanders HC (1)
Jason Witten OC (2)
Sean Lee DC (3)
Consider yourself sucked!OP doing his usual schtick which consist of offering a low brow thread as click bait towards low IQ fans who reach for low hanging fruit.

I prefer him to wear his wig on the sideline and throw it on the field instead of the challenge flag. It's happening. I'm as sure he's on the team next year as I am Dak Prescott. Whether we like it or not. In both cases.
So here's my question. Since it's unavoidable would you rather he be forced on a more experienced head coach as an offensive assistant to groom him or would you just prefer making him the head coach right now and not having that kind of dysfunction?
What hurts more? The dysfunctional environment of pushing an assistant on the new head coach that the owner has future plans for or Witten's total lack of experience to be a Head Coach in the NFL right now?
This is very thought provoking question that bare minimum deserves a like.
I will forward the results over to the Joneses.
Speaking of cycles, check out the graph I posted at this link last October: https://cowboyszone.com/threads/this-is-the-best-outcome.528441/post-13806771Yep.
A vicious cycle.
Garrett forced on Wade.
Moore forced on McCarthy only for Moore to return and get Witten forced on Moore.
It makes perfect Jerry sense when you think about it.
Head Coach Jerry assembling his staff, his way.
Exactly. Let him work his way up. Like romo, he’s not ready to be a HC and I don’t think he’s likely ready to be an OC eitherMake him TE coach. Satisfies the owner and fans.
There is zero chance he will be the next HC of the Cowboys.
Most of those aren’t even options lolMake it a complete clown circus per below:
- Witt- TE Coach
- Irvin/DEz: WR Coach
- Sanders: CB Coach
- Romo: QB Coach
- Randle: RB Coach
- Lee: LB Coach
- Gregory: WEed Coach
Yep, nice one man.Speaking of cycles, check out the graph I posted at this link last October: https://cowboyszone.com/threads/this-is-the-best-outcome.528441/post-13806771
I think it is very appropriate illustration of the term applied to Dallas since March 28, 1994.
