What to expect (differently) from Cassel?

IF (and that's a big if) Dez is back to face the Giants...I mean we don't want to rush him back or anything...but if he can play, and we do give Christine Michaels the starting position...what do you, personally, foresee or expect differently from the previous Weeden-Randle-T-will led show?

I believe we will be much more respectable, formidable, even. I also have a feeling that the Defense is going to start creating some more takeaways...just a hunch with all that pressure they will be bringing. I just hope our safeties aren't a huge liability.

I'm not sure what to expect from him. He has to be better than weeden. But the coaching staff and a ton of players need to step up also if anything going to change. Dallas has lost the turnover battle every game except philly.

Nor do I. I fully expect the defense to overwhelm the Giants' offense. That's what I'm focusing on first and foremost because that will make me much happier than watching the madness on the other side of the ball.

I honestly have no idea what to expect. But I agree with you in regards to defensive pressure. The Giants didn't know what to do with Randall Gregory and now they'll also have to account for Hardy and McClain. That could very well be the difference in the game for the Cowboys.

I feel that we'll spend all week talking about the offensive changes but the difference between winning and losing will come down to how well the defense plays.

I expect more of the same, because that's the way this season is going. Why, why, why can't we have a good offense AND a good defense?

Honestly, I think more of the same unless he either fits this offense better than Weeden or they (coaches) create an offensive strategy that fits Cassel's talents. His talents which are somewhat unknown or yet to be determined given his record. How is that for a non conformed opinion?
I'm just protecting myself for a downfall since I presently do not have faith in the coaches or Cassel turning into #9 anytime soon.

Without Dez and with CMike, Cassel has been given an impossible task to complete. They have set this man up for failure.

I agree. I do think Cassel being a vet of 10 years will be more aggressive and I think coaches will be more willing to open the playbook up
Time of possession was a bigger concern in the Falcons and Saints game than scoring per se. Just a little more TOP by the offense will be a huge benefit to the defense even if they aren't racking up massive points.

Thing is TOP was about even in the saints game. I think offense needs to do better in converting 3rd down than we have been and maybe with Cassel they will I don't know. However my big concern has been defense. We are not getting the turnovers and have played poorly in stopping 3rd downs.

hopefully Gregory being back helps alleviate that some
