That is the most realistic outcome. My realistic expectations was 9-7, 10-6, 2nd place in the NFC East and a WC win. Followed by a soul crushing loss in the divisional round.
When this team has been at its best over the last 20 years, it was when they had a legitimate rushing attack. Until they fix that, there will continue to have inconsistent results. A good run game travels and helps out a defense. Team needs the ability to beat a team in different waysThat is the most realistic outcome.
This team made no major offseason changes.
So status quo divisional exit incoming.

At least 2-3 playoff wins.what was your realistic expectations for this team at the start of the season?
Stevie Wonder fan.Division title and a NFCCG appearance or better.
The whole process hasn’t been good from the backs. OL and schemeOL has had a major regression this year.
This has especially impacted the running game.
I am and proud of it. He's a genius.Stevie Wonder fan.
I am glad you have hobbies because actually paying attention to what happens in Cowboys games is obviously not one of them.I am and proud of it. He's a genius.
You on the other hand are a Vanilla Ice fan. Fake, soft, and untalented.
I did not have any expectation, but I did hope that we would finally be a Super Bowl contenderTake out all the emotion and homerism, what was your realistic expectations for this team at the start of the season?
If everything worked out right, my top expectation was playing in the conference championship. That goal is very much still attainable.
Are they legitimate Super Bowl contenders? No, they have to fix their rushing offense, be better stopping the run and improve greatly with All these penalties.

We're like 90% going to be the #5 seed. That means if we win our WC game we go to SF unless Philly or Detroit lose to the #6 or #7 seed at home. Whenever we face SF we're done I'm sorry but I give us no chance unless their team comes down with the flu or something. They're a bad matchup for us both physical and fast and it would be a road game against a great team.Take out all the emotion and homerism, what was your realistic expectations for this team at the start of the season?

My prediction was 12-5 with a divisional appearance and with some luck, an NFCCG appearance.Take out all the emotion and homerism, what was your realistic expectations for this team at the start of the season?

Any team with a pulse above .500 is a bad matchup for Dallas. They're a bad matchup for us both physical and fast and it would be a road game against a great team.
Obviously Rico was ailing. We saw too much of Lupke to say otherwiseLack of running game is the big issue
