He asked about my expectations
I gave him the expectation and the main reason
You dont like it, ignore it
The question was about expectations for this season and you continue to try and make everything about our QB. Your insight is lacking. Consider yourself ignored.

Take out all the emotion and homerism, what was your realistic expectations for this team at the start of the season?

If everything worked out right, my top expectation was playing in the conference championship. That goal is very much still attainable.

Are they legitimate Super Bowl contenders? No, they have to fix their rushing offense, be better stopping the run and improve greatly with All these penalties.
Start of the season ?

High expectations with the addition of :
A) WR Brandin Cooks, and CB Stephen Gilmore
B) McCarthy led offense
C) continuing Defense per sacks & turnovers
D) addition of rookie DT per run defense

- Cooks has been used more as a possession WR than over the top WR- Failed
- I really thought/hoped we'd scheme our RBs well in both run and pass game - Failed
- I didn't see Dink n Dunk 1st half of year - Mac re-adjusted
- Gilmore has met expectation in fixing the LCB role
- TE Ferguson emerged/has easily replaced departed Schutlz
- Hoped Clark would come into his own per 2nd yr., Failed
- Hoped our safeties would repeat '22 into '23, Failed
- Dak/offense is lights out at Home - but lesser factor on the road : Failed
- FG kicker Brandon Aubrey was great gem find, (despite outside panic)
- Mazi slow to adjust to NFL, but i also don't get how Quinn using him either.

We saw in last years Super Bowl, when a team takes away their passing game, have to beat them in the ground, that’s what the Chiefs were able to do when the Eagles decided to play coverage
Still ticks me off a bit that we didn't trade for Derrick Henry........You can't tell me he couldn't help this now the stretch.

Predicted a 10-7 record. That’s still on the table.

Also expected a wildcard entrant…Still on the table.

Post season prediction now has them losing at TB.

On a side note, I was at the game yesterday. Totally felt the end play out as it did. Sat there calmly watching from my seat. And as strange as it sounds, I watched the players on the field after the ending and their body language told me they weren’t surprised by the outcome either. There is something inherently wrong with this organization that they just can’t shake.

It’s like a bad movie playing over and over again.

It's funny reading this thread, they're doing right about what most people expected them to do. But I think secretly we expect more that's how they disappoint us.

No doubt! Still has a lot left in the tank and teams would think twice playing light boxes against us!

The way they use Cooks makes zero sense

I have no expectations,

that's why I don't overreact to all these wins or the losses no big highs no big lows.... it's a week to week league and I believe we're going to get in the playoffs and I believe we're going to play better than people expect. outside of that none of us are Nostradamus we can't predict **** most people can't predict the game coming up because it's hard one team looks great one week it looks like **** the next that's just how it goes I mean right now Las Vegas is beating Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Kansas city's home field by 10 and they're driving...its 17-10 with fg attempt coming up for LVR, I mean look how bad the lions played yesterday and barely beat a very average Vikings team with their third string quarterback who didn't even play well and yet they still almost beat the lions and then we saw the chargers almost beat that same Buffalo team we couldn't handle this is what this league is you can't predict you shouldn't have expectations you should just watch each week and hope that we win enough games get in the playoffs and that we play well enough to win games in the playoffs that should be your only expectations that's what we have right now...

Wow , I see this question as a mirror into You guys souls. You guys are losers ! That's why you project loses. What you guys think has zero to do with the outcome f the actual game. We don't run, we don't pass we don't play defense.

It's cool ! Just very illustrative. So many so called fans, so many losers !
