That's always a mistake.Looking at the schedule projections
That's always a mistake.Looking at the schedule projections
Everything changed when McCarthy got here. Specially the philosophy of building a roster. And I say quite a difference because since McCarthy was here our drafting changed drastically.
Moving on from Dak. That will be the only way McCarthy isn't eventually blamed for the failures and replaced.Well, the experimenting and changes have to come to an end. MM made a blunder hire with his Def Coordinator, which was corrected with the Dan Quinn Hire.
The 6-10 season in 2020 was shoved under the carpet and blamed on covid.
Now Kellen Moore his OC is gone and he thinks he can do better on Offense.
Looking at the schedule projections , a 9 win season looks very reasonable . No change at QB with a very predictable Dak , who cannot pass you into a win or a CCG or SB win. Add to that mprovements other teams have made in the division ( eagles especially). a 9-8 season looks very possible. This could mean missing the playoffs or exiting early
Would that be acceptable for Jerry and stephen ? Who else will be blamed for this ?
What would a successful season look like in the evaluation of McCarthy ?
This ^^^^. At least an NFC championship appearance or it’s another season on the treadmill. The only bar here is advancing to the NFC title game which would be the franchises first since 1996.
Acually 'KKJ' - the three backups combined for 5 wins in their 12 starts.Just another ridiculous comment which has become a recurring theme with you. We ended up with three wins from multiple backups in 2020. How were we better off?
Andy Dalton got the save against the Giants in week five and went on to win 4 of his 9 starts.Acually 'KKJ' - the three backups combined for 5 wins in their 12 starts.
But your comment to RS is on point.
I don't know what else to tell you. You blamed 6-10 on not having the QB who was 1-3 and having to play with backups who won more.So...you feel you have "an audience" to entertain" - instead of responding to my comment directly at first.
Then follow up with a lame snarkly remark.
He keeps going with this.Sorry, but the Cowboys were winning 31-23 when Dak went down and he was given the win. He finished the 2020 season 2-3. Football works similar to baseball and because Dak started and the Cowboys were ahead when he went down, he got the win. Had it been baseball, Dalton would have gotten the save. Dak’s win against the Giants is official in his QB record. To suggest he doesn’t get the win because he went down with an injury and couldn’t finish, despite leading the Cowboys to 31 points and the lead at the time of his injury is laughable! If you weren’t so preoccupied with trolling for “likes” and earning reaction points from some of the lamb-brains on this board you would have a better grasp of the game. All you try to do is win over all the Dak haters, because the more you appeal to them the better your chances of reaching your goal of 200,000 likes by the end of the year. Lol
Cowboys 2020 record___6-10I don't know what else to tell you. You blamed 6-10 on not having the QB who was 1-3 and having to play with backups who won more.
What you said should be right. It would be right if we had a real QB but we have Dak Prescott. We are better off with backups and that's been proven in 2020 and 2022.
The 3 teams Dallas lost to in those first games ended up with a combined W-L record of 33-15 that year.Cowboys 2020 record___6-10
1-3 under the starting QB.
5-7 under the backup QBs.
You think the starter couldn't have gotten 2-4 more wins if he didn't suffer that season-ending injury...I think the opposite.
We will never know. Agree to disagree. End of story.

You actually want to argue this? He was 1-3 according to you, a Dak hater. Lol Go check the official stats, he was given the win for that game and rightfully so. He was credited with a 2-3 record in 2020 and Andy Dalton who started 9 games was officially credited with a 4-5 record. It doesn’t get more credible than pro football reference. If you enjoy making yourself look foolish, feel free.He keeps going with this.
He was "given" the win by who? You? How do you give a win to a QB who plays 2 and a half quarters, leaves with a 1 score lead, his team loses that lead and then rallies to win while he's in the hospital?
The fact that you're this desperate only proves my point of what a fraud he is. Even in baseball he wouldn't have gotten the win.
He was a 1-3 QB in 2020.
He keeps talking about given a win. They won a game he started but he played 2 and a half quarters, lost the lead when he went out and rallied to win with him in the hospital. If you credit that as a win for the fraud you are laughably desperate. It'd be like a pitcher leaving after 5 innings with a one run lead, they lose the lead, rally in the 9th to win and giving the win to the starting pitcher. Spare me with that nonsense. You actually want to argue this? He was 1-3 according to you, a Dak hater. Lol Go check the official stats, he was given the win for that game and rightfully so. If the team wins 12 games with this tough schedule , even without a SB or CCG , then yes he would deserve to come back and try again .Welcome to the last 6 Seasons. New Material is called for. and what of the two 12-5 seasons . Kellen moved on, it happens, not going to loose any sleep over his departure.
I say 12 wins at least long run in the playoff ( A win and a Competitive Game)
Who gets credit for this Jerry Stephen ?
Appreciate your post
It makes absolutely no difference that we lost the lead after Dalton took over, then regained the lead later. The lead was lost under Andy Dalton. Dak was “officially” credited with that win and you’re disputing it, because you’re an admitted Dak hater. Lol You’re lucky they don’t award “dislikes” on this board or you would be lowering your reaction score. LolHe keeps talking about given a win. He's still desperately pretending a guy who played a little more than half the game and wasn't on the field when the team took the lead for good actually won the game.It makes absolutely no difference that we lost the lead after Dalton took over, then regained the lead later.
